E-mail and voice messages for WSOF President Ray Sefo were not returned as of this writing. On Thursday, former WSOF Vice President and current MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz messaged Bloody Elbow, “I just you know don’t thank [sic] wsof done at all all my guys have fights coming up soon.”
I haven't really been following WSOF for over a year now, but recently when I was browsing through TV channels I saw a WSOF event pop up on Ziggo Sports, the same channel that now airs Glory events and was pleasantly surprised that their events got some exposure all over here.
3 of their last 4 shows have been cancelled. they cancelled two ahead of the new years show. then the one right after was cancelled and moved out to march. so yeah. they've got SOMETHING going on. not doing well is absolutely right. but weather its resulted in shutting down shop, or selling shop, is what I want to know.
