Luis Tavares has been the measuring stick for all canceled Enfusion fights.

I love Daniel Ghita, he's one of my favorite fighters.
But it's been so long now. Farting around with a way over-the-hill Dzevad Poturak is a lot different than a prime JBS.
I get it, he kicked an out-of-shape, young JBS in the gut and put him down, but that was a long time ago and both men are in different places. One man dealt with a terrible illness and kept fighting, the other held out for more money, tried to go into politics and only came back to fighting when most people had forgotten about him.

Just saw that Roel Mannaart is in the reserve bout. Shame he wasn't a tournament entrant but I'll take it. Right? He probably actually deserves it. But I suppose he doesn't have the right management to score that kind of spot.

You literally couldn't ask for a better draw to get your favored participants into the next round.

So yeah, the two final slots go to Mohamed Abdallah and Arkadiusz Wrzosek. You may remember Abdallah from his not so hot performance against D'Angelo Marshall not too long ago, but he does have tournament experience and won the A1 Tournament last year where he beat Glory's other new kid Donegi Abena: As for Arkadiusz Wrzosek, here's his very recent fight against Vladimir Tok: While I do like the idea of fresh faces getting a chance, Abdallah nor Wrzosek exactly seem like hot up and comers. Both fighters seem serviceable, but unless one of them is matched up with Guto - who I just don't think is very good - I don't give either guy a serious chance to make it far. I may turn out to be wrong and I don't want to come off as mean, but they do seem like somewhat lackluster additions to the field. When it's another promotion that just doesn't have the talent nor budget to make a bigger tournament happen I am a lot more forgivable, but even without Rico and Badr this tournament could be a lot more attractive. It's not that I dislike the tournament, not at all, but when it was first announced I was really excited. Now I just think it's pretty cool. Now all that's left is announce the matchups I guess. Like I said a while ago, it was gonna be a letdown when they finally announced the final entrants.

FWIW I sold my Twitter account now, so if you are looking for me on there it's dvewlsh for my personal one. I set up a new @liverkickdotcom with no followers or anything. If we talked on there I deleted the DMs and the new owner is a friend that I've known for a while now and trust.

I don't think it was Micheletti's debut. Or it was? Overall an event a la America. These types of shitty fights are also present in the UFC. K-1 was "la creme", Glory is UFC type. Micheletti hasn't fought for GLORY prior, no. It seems weird because he's a very good fighter and has proven himself in Brazil for quite a while now.

I'm gonna dash some hopes here, but the rest of the field is gonna be kind of a bummer.
From what I've heard Junior Tafa will probably be there again and a few Dutch guys will be in for local appeal.
