I believe the countdown clock is being reset each time, just because. I'm not sure WHY they are doing it and not just a "coming soon" or something, but fuck.

We are in the NEW ERA with Rico Verhoeven and Benny Adegbuyi, though.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Karaev was supposed to, but hasn't surfaced yet.
Ignasho is [sadly] still fighting. The rest don't.

Kunlun might, but there is a LOT of money in China right now. Granted, all it takes is for someone to look at the books and say "this is stupid, why are we doing this?" and the whole thing is done for.

Is Kunlun currently being taken for a quick ride by all the usual names that look to grab as much money as fast as possible before the source runs dry or is it just me seeing things? Absolutely, but when I said this before Sherdog decided that I was a biased prick.

APPARENTLY...
These numbers are so atrocious and the way GLORY is looking at it is that it's Spike's fault.

LOL
Both Spike and GLORY refused to give us any numbers. I know this because Stets and I were bitching to each other about how hard these were to acquire. Sports ratings blogs, though, they don't spin no numbers.

EL OH EL.
Latter, of course. Kunlun will be the BIGGEST AND BEST PROMOTION IN THE WORLD until they "mistreat him" and papa Yim will start the organized assault in the press, maybe even cart out tearful Buakaw.
How much do you bet that Kunlun pushes for a fight with Yod and that is the straw that breaks the back? Buakaw's management not being able to pick opponents is usually a big part of these disagreements.

Man, I miss when kickboxing and pro wrestling were so closely tied together.

I don't know.
Kunlun in general makes no sense.
K-1 drew monster ratings by using local fighters and no-names, WLF does the same thing. Kunlun pays European fighters big money and draws a small fraction of the ratings. Is it probably the best kickboxing organization around at times? Absolutely.

Absolutely 100% without Glory's consent.
There are a few Dutch managers, those that actually work with GLORY, that have a stake in Kunlun, so I dunno.
