Announcing a "rebirth" doesnt come with a magic money tree as far as I know, so prolly safe to assume its still just the same 2023 K-1 we know and will pay as such.

Ogasawara debuts in ONE this Friday. Gonna be really interesting.
Edit: Spoilers:
He fought at 132 lbs and won by KO in like 20 seconds. Also gave his interview partially in Thai. People are hyped about Rodtang maybe fighting Takeru but Ogasawara is a much bigger threat in my view.

I'm curious to see if Kaffa can actually make his style work against the elite guys of the division. Ezbiri for example should surely be able to punish it, but we will see.

Bulgaria has a badass history, and I admire their ability to go through extreme depopulation for decades and still have a fully functional country. Romania cant top that.

Kunlun fight was a cool name. Now they are just another generic alphabet name.

Its pretty annoying for Friday Fights they dont even tell us the line up until the even is happening. They have match ups like Rafi Bohic vs Kulabdam that will get a lot of fans hyped yet they dont even know its going to happen until the day of the fight or after. Chatri, pay some college kid minimum wage to just enter the names on your website.

Kyshenko is the one guy I could see obliterating Eersel.

Another thing to mention, a promoter is not like a grocery clerk, where the job is always the same and there will always be someone to do it. If a fight happens its because the promoter put money on the line to make it happen and spent a lot of effort to handle logistics. 10 years ago Muay Thai had essentially zero English language promotions, the market was there, but nobody did it so the sport barely existed outside of Thai media. Similarly if you take away guys like Andurand the sport will be a shell of what it is now.

Im also gonna have to jump in and defend Glory. They have done a ton that I dont like, first and foremost banning Vakhitov and the other Russians due to politics. But with that aside they gave us Rico's legendary run, Zack Mwekasa the caterpillar man, Shilling's rise, fall and rage quit, 3 great memorable WW champs in Valtellini, Holzken, and Doumbe(#prayformurtel), RvR's amazing career, everyones favorite youtuber Gabriel Varga, and when it came time to sign a Thai they picked the #1 best choice they could have at the time in Petchpanomrung. Plenty of memorable ultra violence along the way too, e.g. Ezbiri vs Boynazarov. Imagine kickboxing without all that.

Man, Japan consistently creates so many world class guys in the 57-60kg range. They've got a golden age going on there.
