I gotta say; while Karimian does not appear to have very refined motor skills and is still somewhat slow due to his physique, it actually does look like he has improved since he won the tournament.
For a guy with that build that must've taken a lot of work.

As expected, not exactly a technical masterclass, but there are flashes where you see the fighter Sina could be, using his reach well, unusual things like flying knees, volume etc

My impression before the fight was that Koya is leagues above and would smash Hayashi easily, that's not what I'm seeing in the ring. Nicely impressed
