Watched most of it, though kind of skipped through some of the fights.
- Pereira was on fire and has been for a while. What is Artem Levin doing these days? I say get him back and make that rematch happen. That or get Kyshenko like lero mentioned.
- Marat legitimately defeated Sitthichai. Sitthichai was in no way uncompetitive, but Marat was just better. It's a rare sight when the Thai fighter is the one getting sweeped by a 'farang'.
- Wisse looked good and handily defeated Belgaroui. One thing of note though is that I don't think I saw Belgaroui drink water before the fight nor between rounds, so it's possible he was fasting (it's currently Ramadan). Not looking to make any excuses, but needless to say that messes with your preparation and performance to at least some degree.
- While it was an even and competitive fight, I didn't have any trouble with Beztati getting the decision over Jauncey so I'm not sure why he reacted the way he did. If anyone was in trouble during the fight it was Jauncey. The strike stats favored Jauncey, but those tend to provide a very warped view on a fight, let alone be flat out wrong sometimes.
- A bit surprised Kepenek defeated Tafa, but it was a pretty fun fight even if both of them were breathing heavy after barely a round. It was a bit weird to see Tafa getting outboxed here, he might be more bark than bite after all. Then again he is still young, so he might still improve/get in better shape. Same goes for Kepenek by the way. If you're breathing heavy after 2 minutes of barely moving, you need to lose the flab.
- At one point during Olofsson vs. Brereton they were exchanging body kicks and it reminded me of JCVD vs. Paolo Tocha in Bloodsport. Good stuff!
- Overall a much better event than it looked to be on paper.
