That really sucks as it's one of the most interesting matchups on the card.

That sucks. He has star quality to him, but man you still have to actually have fights to become a star. He's had 2 fights in the last 2 years (per wiki anyway). Against Miles Simson and Adam Hadfield. Simson I suppose was an ok fight, Hadfield was an arranged hit basically.

I want peak/near peak Kunlun Mezouari back  5-6 fights/year with Sitthichai, Kiria, Grigorian, Zuev etc. kinda names peppered in there.

Quick notes:

- Good fun event and decent season opener
- While I admire Petch's skillset and it's impressive how he completely shuts opponents down, I don't find him very fun to watch as usually his fights are rather clinchy and there are tons of breaks in the action. In this case it probably didn't help that he fought Adamchuk again who also has a hand of getting clinchy.
- Bates upsetting Harut after going down hard on a break is my story of the night.
- Mannaart getting his jaw broken and Palandre getting his arm broken sucked. Still good victories for Maslobojev and Beztati, though.
- Styben's team doesn't seem to have his best interest at heart. Should've thrown the towel after the first round, not send him back in to get his nose smashed on top of that beating.
- Cool to see them use the event to announce Benjamin Adegbuyi as Badr's next opponent. Maybe it would have been cool to have Badr there as well.

Adegbuyi vs Badr? I don't see that fight lasting too long. What is Ben Saddik doing these days? I would've much preferred to see him vs Badr.

Maybe Jamal will finally get his rubber match with Rico.

Either way I like Badr vs Benny.

You could argue Benny's questionable chin will be exposed quickly, but Badr isn't exactly known to take a punch well either.
