Those low punches were an invention Kido debuted in the 2009 final 8 reserve fight vs Leroy Kaestner I guess he used them before. 2009 is a while ago and I'm old. |

BTW I like that Sina Karimian vs. Aitaka Ryo is one of the main fights, rather than just an afterthought scheduled early on the card.
I guess the very realistic prospect of another Japanese champion added to that decision.

Asahisa took this fight on 4 days notice, went up a division to make the weight cut and beat the champ with a 4 point differential
But kudos to Hayashi for refusing to go down

They brought Aitaka up to main billing status and stuck him on all the Abema posters after Egawa had to drop out, lol |

Egawa dropping out completely went past me due to not keeping up with the fightcard until I absolutely had to update the thread. Why did he drop out?
