I watched the event after work last night and despite lacking in the big name department, it was a really solid event.
A few notes:
+ K-Jee completely overwhelmed Karimian who looked completely lost after K-Jee's first flurry hit. He shook his head to indicate he wasn't hurt, but he went down quick after that and continued to get clobbered after getting up until the ref jumped in and the towel was thrown. While part of me feels bad for Karimian, I can't help but feel happy for K-Jee. His hard work paid off and now he's the K-1 Cruiserweight Champion. From this point on it'll be interesting to see if he can defend the belt. I hope Karimian will be back though as he's a fun fighter and character. + Kotomi defeating Kana was the big surprise. While watching I still thought Kana did enough to get the decision, Kotomi gave a very spirited effort despite perhaps missing Kana's somewhat more refined movement. This is a good development and I'm happy for Kotomi. The only complaint I'd have is that this wasn't for the belt (I believe), so I guess we can expect a rematch for the title at K'Festa 4. + More generally speaking, both women's fights on the card were enjoyable as Yamada Mako vs. Yu was a spirited clash as well. + Noiri Masaaki beat up Vitor Tofanelli badly. I can't believe Tofanelli's chin and heart. He only went down once and kept firing back his own stuff, despite getting the snot beaten out of him. + In the prelims Terada Takumi showed some promise in quickly disposing of Sadamatsu Hirotaka. + A bunch of really nice knockdowns throughout the card which I'm sure will get one of those KO/KD video's. + Taro-kun had another superhero mascot visit! (which Karaevfan didn't show any respect on Twitter lol)
- It was a bit frustrating watching Rui getting beaten like that by Animal Koji. Rui has the tools to do much better than that, not unlike Sugimoto Hitoshi. - Asahisa Hirotaka, Taio's younger (?) brother isn't bad, but I feel his fight with Oiwa didn't live up to the hype. It would have worked better for me as an opener for the main card portion of the event. - The card could have used just a few more KO's.
Again, just a really solid and enjoyable event.

I have only watched about half so far, will watch the rest tonight. Tried to watch it live, but kept falling asleep.
Congratulations to K-Jee though.
