WTF!? It's actually happening? That's fucking awesome. That said, June is far away. A lot can happen until we're there. Definitely the kind of thing that I'll believe it's happening when they're both in the ring 😂 Covid, injuries, K-1 (probably?)...lots of things can mess it up! |

Lloyd van Dams has passed away. www.vechtsportinfo.nl/nieuws/top-kickbokser-lloyd-van-dams-overleden-rip-broer/He was only 49 years old. It's weird. I was playing the K-1 game like a week ago, saw him in it and thought of his career and his brother Clyde who's doing a pretty good podcast nowadays. Lloyd fought all the greats and and gave every single one of them trouble. I was lucky enough to see him fight live back in 2006 when he took on Schilt in Amsterdam. Aside from losing a bout to Ignashov due to exhaustion, I don't think he was ever KO'd.  RIP Lloyd. |

Something a bit uplifting after the unfortunate news this morning, here's a new video of JLB sparring with MMA fighter and YouTuber Gregory Bouchelaghem.
JLB turned 49 just a few days ago, still looking like a beast!

Edit: Probably a bit of a weird bit of news to end the 2021 kickboxing thread with;
Tenshin boxing a 43 year old MMA guy on short notice and arguably losing, but it is what it is.
