Once Badr and Rico are gone for good, if they keep being the premiere European Kickboxing promotion I hope they do some kind of annual subscrption for numbered events and old fights like KOK does... I would pay 50 bucks a year for an event every 2-3 months; keep the Rivals stuff monthly for free... Glory X Enfusion, Glory X RISE, Glory X DFS, Glory X KOK, Glory X WGP and Glory X WLF.

Zouggary is out with an injury, to be replaced by Chikh Mousa. Well that sucks.

Just signed up for a Videoland account. Cheapest subscription is 5 bucks. Initial registration has to happen from the Netherlands - or a Dutch ip address - but content can be viewed from most EU countries as listed here. First two weeks are for free. They've added previous events from Glory 76 onward including Rivals. I probably won't be watching live today as I'm attending a social event, so it's going to be a good test to see how well their replay functionality works afterward.

Just finished watching all the fights:
+ Solid return event for Glory with mostly fun fights. + JBS/Adegbuyi was short, but sweet. + A bunch of local/German fighters on the card and most of them had a pretty good showing. + Kepenek with the upset victory, looking good against Mahieddine. + Chikh Mousa looked impressive against Habiat who never really looked quite stable on his feet. + Koprivlenski/Billet was probably the best fight on the card. Koprivlenski really impressed me in this one as I sorta expected Billet to win going into it. + Fun opening fights. + Good quality stream from Videoland. That's really my main concern. + Dutch commentary was done by Alex Lely and Remy Bonjasky. While it can't hold a candle to the great Fred Royers in his EuroSport days, it was okay.
- Wisse/deSousa stood out compared to the other fights. De Sousa really wasn't there to win, but to survive. He was happy just being there and making the final bell. What was he doing in a title fight? - Mahieddine was obviously injured going into this and it showed in his performance. He was getting tagged from the get-go and I just feel bad for him. It kinda feels like he always has bad luck or gets the short end of the stick somehow. Hopefully he'll be back stronger. - Not really a good look for Rise as their Champion got handily defeated by a random local fighter. - As far as I can tell Videoland does not offer the option to watch the full event, just single fights. - It would have been nice to have an option to switch back and forth between different commentary teams.
Some aditional thoughts:
Adegbuyi had no chance against JBS. He could have had a smarter gameplan than exchanging with Jamal in R1, but I feel at 37 Benny has most likely peaked and there's no way he's going to be the champion. It's a shame because I like the guy, but he's essentially a gatekeeper at this point in his career. Not sure what's next for him.
Perhaps I missed something, but the Dutch broadcast team seemed to be kinda implying that Jamal wasn't going to fight Plazibat and instead waits for a rematch with Rico?
The venue looked strange. It kinda looked like they were only using the bottom floor, not the top one(s). Was this due to lack of ticket sales or simply a COVID restriction? Or perhaps a way to maintain a more controllable crowd size after Badr/Wrzosek 2?
