- Recently fought (and won) at RCC in Russia. Against the best LHW from Russia right now: Nikita Kozlov, who has (clear) wins over Zinedine Hameur-Lain, Ariel Machado and Gustavo Jones (#1 ranked at 78kg in Brazil)

I watched that fight, and have seen at least one or two other fights of Thian's. I like him. Much to learn still, but a nice style to watch. Kozlov hasn't been protected imo (like some of the Russian's online say), but you can see he has some flaws. He looked a bit flawed against Jones and de Vries. I don't mind his style either. Some pretty nice kos, especially the Jones and Alberto knockouts.

It's a shame seeing a talent like Massaro with wins over guys like Noiri and Hiramoto turn into a jobber with more losses than wins. To be fair he's coming back from a long lay-off and the whole situation surrounding his father cannot have been easy for him. I hope he can get back in the winner's circle. Somehow he's still only 29 so there's plenty of time if he does not continue the path of being a full-time last minute replacement.

I'm both impressed and concerned. Impressed by Maslobojev's physical shape at a higher weight and his level of aggression, leading to a quick finish. Concerned by Brudenell getting knocked out in such fashion. He also was finished by Osaro last year. Just hoping he doesn't turn into another journeyman whose purpose is getting knocked out by bigger names.

Taisei Nishitani knocked down Hiroto Yamaguchi three times at FIGHT CLUB. Nishitani is a disciple of Mikuru Asakura and has been mostly a BREAKING DOWN fighter. He beat Albert Krause in the summer, as well as being brutally ko'd at Rizin this year.
Mikuru Asakura was destroyed in about 77 seconds by YA-MAN. Anyone with a brain knew this was the outcome. I didn't like this fight for Mikuru when it was first rumoured around BREAKING DOWN 4. YA-MAN began doing guest commentary at a few events and probably will continue to do so for marketing purposes. Mikuru is in pure money making mode and has been since BREAKING DOWN took off. The video is on Twitter, as I have no idea how to link lol.
YA-MAN called out Ren Hiramoto, who was ringside. He also offered Asakura a rematch in MMA.

Based on that footage alone Roberts seems to have a good physique and some power in his hands, but is way too stiff and sloppy to be a serious threat for anyone in the top 10.
Of course it's cool for him to get this opportunity at the big stage and a chance to prove doubters wrong, but I don't see Kryklia having much trouble finishing this quickly.

Yeah I agree: it looked like he won the fight due to his long reach, constantly hitting Knowles with the jab, and not showing too much other than that.
