Not seeing Pettas listed as part of the card anymore.
Still 25 fights lol.

Streaming options. Curious to see if they last. Triller would probably take it down pretty easily and KOK's fightplus isn't taking any legal risks lol. Stream-ticket seems Japanese and possibly might stay up...

Some solid promo's.
I think they're just missing a bit of reach/visibility and English subs, which are inherently connected of course.

Davit Kiria OUT due to injury, Umar Semata OUT due to visa issue. Replaced by Romano Bakboord and Viktor Akimov.

That sucks.
Depending on the type of injury, this could be an opportunity though: Since they found replacements, Kiria could fight Semata as the 8th qualification fight at the next event.

Updated card / fight order: Aside from the last minute changes which always suck, I really like how international the main card looks.

Sina shenanigans from his entrance to the fight. Brutal KO from Ce. I do wonder if Sattari's speed could have done anything to Sina, because he was so open from the first bell. Everything seemed to hurt him. The weight cut probably took something from him too.

Akimov the new spinning back fist king. Brutal KO.

Verdonk beats Wajima by first round ko. Not surprised. Never sold on Wajima.
Sattari vs. Ce is probably happening next. Meh, not interested but he's the only one around that weight with some form, albeit that form will from two years prior to this fight.

Haven't seen it yet unfortunately, but some surprising results in there - to me at least.
Lots of very close decisions it seems.
Didn't expect Koprivlenski to lose here, though I'm not shocked either. It's almost like he's becoming a gatekeeper at 70kg, rather than a serious contender.
Kinda expected the much smaller Nakajima would struggle against Akimov, but didn't expect Bakboord to get past Thananchai based on all the hype he was getting going into this. Yay late replacements!
Also didn't expect Sina to get KO'd here, but it was about time he got served some humble pie.
Wonder if anyone got one of the stream options and how their experience was.
I guess these are our final 7 for the MAX finals: - Darryl Verdonk - Ouyan Feng - Victor Akimov - Kacper Muszyński - Zhora Akopyan - Romano Bakboord - Dengue Silva - TBD
I hope the final spot can still be decided in a fight between the fighters that had to be replaced (Kiria/Semata/Pikeur).

Vechtsportinfo published an article about the event this morning: "K-1's bitter aftermath: Doping, corrupt jurors, angry fighters and a pissed off promotion"- Sina accused Ce of being on PEDs in his post-fight interview, because he's been sparring all the big guys from Mike's Gym and never was in trouble like that. - The article wrote that "people" are questioning some decisions, like Bakboord/Thananchai and the K-1 vs. Rise ones. - Article states that all Rise fighters lost their fights. This is flat-out wrong, because Miyuu lost a decision to Koyuki. That said, Rise producer Ito has been vocal about some of the decisions and is putting co-promotion with K-1 on hold for the time being: I haven't seen any of it yet myself, but K-1 does have a history of this so it's within reason that some decisions were questionable. At the same time, I don't think this type of public mud slinging is a good look for any promotion nor the way to move the sport forward. As for Sina's accusations, I think he's just being a poor sport as usual. His ability to take shots was likely affected by the weight cut and Ce is just a more well-rounded fighter to begin with. All week Vechtsportinfo has actually been giving a lot of attention to this event and they do tend to get some scoops here and there, which is why I use it, but overall it's just a cringy, tabloid level clickbait website with razor thin articles, riddled with inaccuracies, that usually consist of a social media post accompanied by two or three lines of speculative text. They've also been experimenting with (obvious) AI generated comments under their articles.
