Apparently Khbabez is entertaining the thought of joining the Moroccan boxing team in the Olympics. Khbabez and other ARJ fighters did a podcast with Remy a couple of days ago. Haven't watched yet, so I'm not sure if any of this was addressed and/or how serious Khabez is about this and what it would mean for his Kickboxing career.

Kunlun 70 kg tournament actually seems to be 64-man again. They went behind a paywall on douyin (Chinese tiktok), so sadly we're back to the early Kunlun Fight dark ages in terms of actually being able to watch the events. Starts tomorrow.

Winners of the 2 first Kunlun Fight 70 kg 4-man tournaments. Kittidet Nachaitong (Thailand) Mohammadreza Ghafari (Iran) I'll try and keep up with the tournament at: challonge.com/2024KLF70It'll probably break at some point when pairings get shuffled around and injuries happen etc. but can maybe somewhat keep tabs on the tournament at least. Couple "notable" fighters out already, and that is very relative here with the quality of the tournament so far. Nayanesh Ayman who used to fight in Kunlun in the past and made it relatively far in the tournament and Umar Semata who was supposed to be in the K-1 tournament but couldn't get a visa I believe. Semata also fought in a tournament in 2014 on Kunlun Fight 1. Couple guys they got to promote as being somewhat familiar to their audience. There's also a 2024 Kunlun wiki page for Kunlun again with full results. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_in_Kunlun_Fight#Kunlun_Fight_97

Akimoto vs Rui and Rungrawee vs Shumarov should also be good.

Interesting, Szpilka gave Deontay Wilder a run for his money a few years ago.
