Thanks for sharing. It's a fun interview.
Vienot certainly doesn't lack ambition. He's accomplished in Muay Thai, but I think he could do more in Kickboxing before crossing over to MMA.
I don't like all those kickfighters moving away from the sport. I get it though. People see guys like Adesanya and Pereira becoming major stars in the UFC and want a piece of that pie.

After re-adding 65kg to their website recently, Glory now also re-added 70kg. It only lists Tyjani though lol. |

Two things: - Is Tayfun vs. Smaili at Enfusion still happening? - I guess this means no Smaili in K-1 Romania. Probably no to the 1st at least, 2nd maybe. Ozcan apparently going to do a catchweight bout and then 77 kg in Glory. Not the biggest fan of this hahah. Went great for Jaraya! |

Ah, so the Enfusion fight indeed is not happening anymore. Edwin van Os must be over the moon lol.
As for Tayfun moving up in weight, I'm not sure what he walks around at and how much he had to cut to make 70kg.

Think he's sorta preferred like 72 kg already too, so guessing he doesn't love the cutting Still, I don't look at him as a guy who'll particularly benefit from going up in weight. Hoping it won't be Jaraya levels of decline, but if Ozcan already didn't quite beat the best at 70, don't see him doing much better at 77. Guys like Hamicha and Beztati clearly more suited for 77. |
