Reports are coming out that Chingiz Allazov has vacated his ONE belt. Initially it was just a claim by Marat Grigorian in a recent interview, but in the meantime Allazov has confirmed it to be true. ONE/Chatri have not officially confirmed it yet. Looks like Allazov really wants to leave.

This should probably be taken with a spoon of salt, but there are rumors going around about Glory 97 happening in November and featuring Badr vs. Saki 3. Not sure if there are retirement implications for either fighter, but I can imagine it being the case. I think a lot of it is based on a recent episode of Remy & Marinho's podcast where it was addressed and somewhat recent footage of both Badr and Saki training and/or looking in shape.

Kunlun is starting some new line of events. Supposedly grand(er) scale events on last Saturday of every month at big arenas in big cities. There will also be boxing on the events with IBA. We shall see how this goes. Sounds like this would be an ongoing thing, but I could see it stop pretty quickly if and when it doesn't go so well. Presser this Saturday for this. Not seen a peep otherwise.

November 16 in Beijing (last Saturday format went out the window I guess) December in Shanghai Hope this (~Russian) IBA money trickles down to the kickboxing parts of the cards too.

K-1 is going to broadcast the Sarajevo, Sicily and Brasilia qualifier events in September. More details TBA. Not a bad move to get more audiences into the Final 8 participants as those live streams were mostly geo-blocked. Of course, if Abema is going to air this they'll also be geo-blocked.

WLF wilding out releasing their names.

IBA Kunlun Fight World Cup presser was kind of the most professional press conference I've seen, but they really didn't say much at all lol. I suppose things are still somewhat up in the air as the first event is in mid November.
$2 million prize pool...but probably just about all of that is for their 63.5kg and 71kg boxing tournaments.
Hopefully some of the money finds it's way on the kickboxing side of things as well.

Cool to see Josh Jauncey back - provided this line-up actually happens. 70kg is one of those division where you can have 10 promotions do their own tournament and they're all good.
