Romani are the gypsies from Romania and Hungary, I believe Dutch gypsies are like the Irish gypsies who picked up the name without having a direct link to the Romani.

I think it kind of varies per community over here: sometimes their people look caucasian and have typical Dutch names, other times they look much more ethnically ambiguous and have really exotic names.
I've trained at a bunch of gyms since childhood (Karate/Kickboxing/MT) and the Dutch Kickboxing gyms always have at least some travellers in them and they're usually pretty good.

I like Bahram, but he tends to get dirty when things don't go his way and I can definitely see things from Maslobojev's perspective.

I'll take the unpopular opinion that I think Maslobojev is a sore fucking loser that always seems to have some issue when he loses. Probably harsh.

I think generally speaking fighters tend to be sore losers that like to act as if they were winning until [insert excuse].
That said, I do believe there is some legitimacy to Maslobojev's complaints about the Abena and Bahram stoppages. I'm not aware of him complaining about other losses so I cannot speak on anything else.
Besides, Bahram was also complaining after last night's fight was stopped even though it was a legit stoppage caused by a legal technique. After the way he behaved during the fight and having somewhat of a history of fighting dirty I feel like he's the last person that should be complaining about anything.

Oh, I'm not defending Bahram. He and his fans, as well as the Moroccans, are all sore losers. Sergej rubs me up the wrong way. I've developed negative feelings towards him over the years lol.

I actually like Sergej. I've watched some interviews with him over the past year or so and thought he seems likeable. That said, I do think he should have just continued the fight when it became clear that Bahram wasn't going to get punished for the headbutt. "Quitting in protest" kinda felt like taking the easy way out.

Spong talking about his career and plans for the future.
He brings up Glory's "insulting offer" again and says he still has big plans, but he just turned 39 and hasn't fought in almost 3 years. I don't think he's worth nearly as much money as he claims.
He's more or less thrown away the past decade of his career which is a huge shame.

Yeah, he still could have made title runs both at LHW and HW in Glory after his leg recovered.
His MMA and Boxing efforts ultimately lead nowhere so while it may seem harsh IMO it was a complete waste of time.
Right now I get the feeling he's deluding himself that he made the right choices and still has a lot left to do, but I'd be surprised if there's anything worthwhile left for him, especially with how high of a purse he seems to demand.
When K-1 died a lot of fighters went for big paydays and their careers sort of fizzled out.
