K-1 has released the line up. Kwon vs. Istrate, Zimmerman vs. K-Jee, Brudenell vs. Machado, and Ce vs. Wildcard.

So they didn't hold a draw for this one. Probably didn't want to fly everybody in for it. Bit of a shame, but it is what it is.
I don't mind the matchups.
Errol had already challenged K-Jee to take revenge for JLB, Brudenell vs. Machado is more or less a new kid vs. veteran matchup and Kwon vs. Istrate could be a fun clash between two bigger guys. Just wonder who the wildcard will be. I hope it's not Karimian.

Somebody in the comments made a Karimian being the wildcard joke.. I wouldn't be surprised, but I hope not. I think these match ups could be pretty fun. Machado has been fun to watch this year. Not just the Brasilia tournament, but the fire fight with Giannis too.

Outside chance of wildcard being Badr Hari?

Yodkhunpon is on the card. Muszyński is fighting Mavrodin, and it looks like Karimian will be fighting Yamaguchi. I would prefer old man Hari over Karimian, hehe. I think that could be a reserve fight, but I'm not sure. Also, Wajima vs. Stoyan, Kaneko vs. Aslanbek Zikreev, and Riamu vs. Ryo Okubo.

Outside chance of wildcard being Badr Hari? I've thought about that; Badr actually appears to have been training and Glory seems to have lost interest in him. On the other hand, he's been on such a spectacular downfall I just can't see him getting past Liu Ce. Is the extra exposure from having Badr in their event for five minutes worth the insane pricetag he'll come with? Otherwise some fun matchups on the card; I'm glad to see Muszyński back and Stoyan vs. Wajima could be competitive, depending on which Stoyan shows up.

Tanigawa vs. Jitsukata will be the reserve match.. Shota Yamaguchi deserves that.

Liu Ce is indeed out and will be replaced by fellow Chinese fighter Feng Rui, who is apparently undefeated and holds a victory over Liu Ce. The wildcard goes to Italy's Mattia Faraoni, who has beaten Bogdan Stoica, K-Jee and Danut Hurduc earlier this year. Rui faces Faraoni in the quarterfinals. I have no problem with this.

Tanigawa vs. Jitsukata will be the reserve match.. Shota Yamaguchi deserves that. I agree, but I think they want to keep Sina as far away from the tournament as they can lol. BTW we're at 20 fights total including prelims. Still a bit much for my taste, but a step in the right direction if they don't add a bunch of additional fights over the next couple of weeks.

Oh, I meant that Shota should have fought someone other than Sina lol.
I had wondered if Ce would take part given how he was beaten not that long ago. I'm okay with the two guys announced. I was just looking at Faraoni the other day, hehe. I am actually more interested to see who comes through now that the obvious front runner is gone.
I think Istrate is going to be in some fun fights here, regardless of if he loses in the quarters or the semi's. I have a feeling the winner of Machado and Brudenell is going to the final. The other side doesn't look as interesting to me.

I think they feel somewhat confident about Shota's chances against Sina after his performance against Errol which is why we have this matchup to begin with.
