This is an interesting one. While it's essentially a rebranded GFC event with mostly Romanian fighters on the card, the K-1 branding adds some bigger implications for at least some of the fights. Romania has done K-1 Fighting Network events before (in 2007 and 2010) and those cards featured Zimmerman as well, so there is some connective tissue there. Obviously Errol is in the winter of his career, but he's been able to rack up a few wins recently. Also Warrior Code was in Romania to attend the most recent DFS card and in their latest podcast Remy mentioned something about future cards possibly broadcasting via their website which I guess may be happening for this one.

It'll be fine I'm sure, but the rumoured plans for the Glory event sounded a lot better than what this is shaping up to be so far. Wonder if the budget is still the same or if it went down a lot lol.

Oh absolutely. Some of those Glory rumors were pretty outlandish though: Collision 7, one of the biggest events Glory has ever done, the LHW tournament etc.
And I believe Maurice Hols was still involved with some of those early meetings with Romanian promoters.
I can imagine current management scratching their heads at some of those ideas and scrapping it altogether.
Perhaps it's not so much K-1 'swooping in', but Glory having some sort of agreement with them. Kikuta mentioned at some point that there was an open line of communication with Glory.
This K-1 co-promotion seems much more in line with previous K-1 events in Romania and since this is not listed as a 'proper' GP, but rather a Fighting Network card it's understandably much smaller in scope as I expect GFC to be footing (most of) the bill.

Looks like Bogdan Stoica will be fighting Akira Jr. and Amansio Paraschiv will take on Stoyan Koprivlenski.

Bogdan Stoica was removed from the card. Serhii Adamchuk was added.
Looks like Stoica may move to the Glory LHW GP.

Event moves to June 13th. Not a fan of non-weekend cards, but apparently they're also moving to a bigger venue.
Edit: Leandro Dikmoet - who recently fought Maslobojev - added to the card.

Card is shaping up okay, actually. It's pretty diverse for a Romanian event.

Card underwent some major changes (OP updated).
Zimmerman has a new opponent, Paraschiv dropped out of the fight with Koprivlenski, Orza is still without an opponent, some other matchups changed as well and the order of fights is very different now.
Maybe Koprivlenski can fight Orza at catchweight?
I do like the size of the card.

Even more changes with Koprivlenski no longer being listed, which is a bummer as he was probably the best fighter on the card. I have a feeling there'll be more changes despite this only being three days away.
Bought a PPV on WarriorCode for three bucks, let's see what we end up with.
