I much prefer Bahram at heavyweight, so I'm happy. Still think we get the same result.

I would have preferred Latescu/Bahram and Levi/Plazibat and think G94 attendees are getting absolutely screwed, but Bahram is one of the very few acceptable replacements for Plazibat as both a headliner and title eliminator.

Personally I would have preferred Jamal Ben Saddik, but I understand why Glory doesn't want to get burned scheduling ankle bracelet Jamal for a major fight. Rico probably has some pull and doesn't seem to want to fight him again either.

The only other good alternative would have been a straight title fight between Levi and Rico, but again, I see Rico having some pull here and objecting.

For the record; I don't think Rico should have any say in who and when he fights, but everything indicates he does have some power in Glory.

Edit: I do like that Levi/Bahram is a five rounder. Any title eliminator and main event in general should be five rounds.

Croatia’s best kickboxer has been forced to withdrew from the main event of GLORY 95, set to take place on September 21 in Zagreb, Croatia, due to an elbow injury. According to the results of an MRI he underwent on August 2, he was diagnosed with bone degeneration caused by a subhondral elbow cyst, a stress fracture of an upper arm bone, cartilage inflammation and tendinitis. On a happier note, the injury Plazibat sustained against Osaro has completely healed.
