Round 3 Souwer again the main aggressor now. Bessmertny doesn't have much of a choice other than resorting to the guard while on the backpedal. He has no real answer for Souwer's diverse punching angles. Bessmertny tries to clinch-knee, but Onari breaks the fighters up. Bessmertny manages to push Souwer against the ropes and hit connect a good 1-2, but Souwer shrugs it off. Souwer slips, no down though Bessmertny raises his hands. Bessmertny goes in with a last flurry as the round ends. Andy takes this easily, though Bessmertny was strong in the second half of round 3.

Souwer takes the decision.
Man, Souwer looked great in this fight!

Very intense and hardfought final round. With all the fights and years on the clock, Andy looks like 3 rounds is a struggle for him nowadays. That being said, he's won here tonight, I reckon. And pretty well, all things considered.

Those in attendance are probably thinking: 'ah, the piss break fight."

Lol. It's a shame as this will -most likely- be a pushover for Zhuravlev.
It feels a bit as if LEGEND is a Russian version of SuperKombat, only with a way, waaay bigger budget.

Round 1 While Turynski's movement shows he is a bit rough around the edges, he is actually very versatile with a lot of ring awareness and is giving Zhuravlev tons of trouble. Zhuravlev is headhunting, but actually being outscored in the process.

Round 2 Pretty much a repeat of Round 1, though a bit more evened out in the scoring department. Turynski's reach is still giving Zhuravlev a lot of trouble. Turynski is starting to breathe heavier now though. This might turn things around in Round 3.

Round 3 Turynski is tired and mostly on the backpedal. Zhuravlev is able to tag Turynski left and right, but his timing is still off on the real killer shots. Round ends. This one is tough to call.
Unfortunately, it wasn't a nice fight to look at.

Zhuravlev takes it. Turynski's gassing out in the second half of the fight saved Zhuravlev from being embarrassed and getting some sort of redemption after being pounded by Adegbuyi.

Round 1 Both fighters throwing power shots from the start, but it's mostly single strikes. Murthel knocks Askerov down twice with punch flurries in rapid succession and Onari ends it.
Groenhart by KO R1.

CHAMP-E-ON X 8!
Murthel took no prisoners in there. Scissor knee was vicious.

I don't know. This event wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.
I consider it a warm-up for next weekend.
Thanks themagi and all others who have joined this Live Event Discussion.
