Lille is a good place for Dutch and Belgian fans, close to the Belgian border. I expect some fans from the Netherlands and Belgium to attend this event I estimate A couple of hunderd Dutch and Belgian fans (minimum). Won't be a sellout though 4-5000 if they are lucky.
It's reasonable card and if they manage to include the Verhoeven vs the winner of Adegbuyi-Silva fight I would say this card is Glory's best one of 2015.
Busy schedule for Benny in May and June, I hope Eduard will give the "go ahead"

Personally, if this would be in Holland/Belgium/Germany I'd attend this as I live near both the Belgian and German borders. France is a bit too far for me.

I thought the same thing for a second when I first saw the card.
If I'm not mistaken Ole Laursen dabbles in MMA nowadays after having taken a real beating in his last 10 or so kickboxing fights. He's more or less the Ignashov of 70kgs.

I really like Verhoeven VS Adegbuyi btw.
Only thing is, if this fight is set in stone why does Adegbuyi still have to fight Silva first? What if he loses to Silva? That fight makes no sense at all.

No, Adegbuyi does not fight Silva anymore. Silva injured himself according to Brestovac.

He's more or less the Ignashov of 70kgs. I knew he had a stint with One FC. Checking out Sherdog, it was only a 2-fight stint tough. He seemingly hasn't fought for almost 2 years, too. He might be very well retired. For some reason I really thought that he had an MMA fight with Jadamba Narangtungalag. Anyway, did you actually know already that Jadamba won the One FC featherweight title last year? He also looked very good in that performance. It would be time for his first defense alrady, but no bout scheduled yet. |

Silva might be pissed but Adegbuyi won his title shot against Gerges. Personally i wasn't against another fight for Adegbuyi before the title shot but this is fairer. I'm sure Silva will be in the contender tournament later this year and i hope he gets Vigney as his opponent as a consolation for having this fight canceled. This will insure he gets into the final where he will hopefully meet the winner between Ghita (if they manage to renew the contract until then) and Kharitonov/Zimmerman. I also wouldn't mind seeing Brestovac, Edwards or Ben Saddik in there either. Possibly the loser between Rico and Benny could be in there too, but i'm not sure it would be wise to give them a chance at the title so fast. Let someone new get a shot at the title first.
