I mean, winning one of these tournaments is supposed to get you into a contender tournament. The thing is, if we don't know when these contender tournaments are, what gives? Also, if Vigney loses to Sam is he still going to be in a tournament, or is he out?

Too bad there isn't going to be a star from the likes of Vigney or Jacoby. Glory started off much better with the Schilling's, Barrett's and such. I don't hate either Vigney or Jacoby but neither of them have shown me anything that they could grow into something significantly more they are. Fine enough fodder for the lesser product of the undercard/SFS but with the current way Glory is going I don't really see the possibility of a legit american star.

They haven't really been consistent with them. It's been fluctuating between 4 and 6.

The SuperFight Series is so much better than the main card at this point, I don't even know.

Speaking about the SFS; I know Groenhart is in a bit of a slump at the moment, but isn't he just going to murder Sugden?

While I actually agree with you in this particular case, why do you have the burning desire to bring up SuperKombat every chance you get?

SK gets undeservedly shit on the most IMO. I like to give them praise when even remotely given a chance too

SK gets undeservedly shit on the most IMO. I like to give them praise when even remotely given a chance too See, I don't know about that. I think that SuperKombat would mostly be forgotten or treated like it is; a regional kickboxing promotion that promotes regional stars and puts on cool shows from time to time. I feel that most of the derision that they garner is by having crazy, hardcore nutbag fans that harass people online about SuperKombat. There's no need to compare SuperKombat with GLORY, just like there is no need to compare Enfusion with GLORY. GLORY, even at their worst, have a bigger budget, better production and better TV deals worldwide. I've had SK fans harass me, attempt to bribe me to get their favorite fighters ranked and even go as far as to threaten and try to run me down on forums and shit. Why? Because I'm not churning out 1,000 word articles about SuperKombat. I don't consider has-been, C-list actors attending a show as newsworthy and you know what? Neither do the people who read LK. I was looking through Facebook today and do you know what kind of numbers SK posts bring? 70% below average. Enfusion is at least 40% below average at worst. I like the people involved with SuperKombat, they have some nice people who work for them and I like Eduard as well, but they aren't running shows like they were in 2011 so it's insane to give them coverage like they are putting on tournaments with top level talent anymore. They aren't. Are GLORY putting on shittier shows? Absolutely, but their brand still has more value, their champions are still [mostly] top guys in the world, etc. Literally no promotion can be as annoying as SuperKombat and make me want to rip my hair out. Okay, maybe Lion Fight.

Oh no doubt SK has some of the nuttiest defenders. Still many, mostly dutch scene loving peeps, give you a lecture damn near every time someone brings up a Romanian fighter or SK in a positive light.
