It was an entertaining fight but let's not blow it out of proportions. It's not even in the same universe as that title.

Man, all due respect, but that was not a good fight. That was so sloppy. Compare that fight to the first Hari/Bonjasky where both guys were going full force with a ton of technique and they just don't compare at all.

Yeah you probably are right. The hype is huge immediately after the fights
P.S: I have watched the fight again and I'm surpraised to constant that Londt was also rocked another 3-4 . Incredible heart for this fighter. In those situations his feet looked like didn't listen of him anymore but managed somehow to stay on his feet and survive. I hope to see more of Londt in the future. Maybe we will get to see him vs Ben saddik, the fight that should have taken place this month but was cancelled. I want Less Vigney and more Londt!
Here is a very good quality video with the fight(the best I have found yet)"

I Round 2 both Hari and londt were rocked... but the fight wasn't sloppy. Maybe Londt was a bit sloppy, but he showed a lot of heart. Hari wasn't sloppy, he looked very good and sharp, he just got caught.

There was a fair amount of sloppiness in this fight, which mostly came from Londt, who threw a lot of slow and unrefined shots. The main reason for this is that imo he didn't look to be in the best shape. I hope he gets some discipline and loses that belly. It'd do wonders for him. He made up for his shortcomings with heart and crazy power shots, though.
As for Badr a more serious opponent meant he had to actually properly prepare himself for this fight and being back on the horsemeat diet seems to have helped a lot. Badr looked a lot faster and threw the smarter shots.
Considering neither Londt nor Hari were very busy since 2013 and haven't fought strong opposition in a while partly explains why this wasn't the most technical fight. To be fair Londt was never much of a technician to begin with and Badr nowadays prefers brawling over technical precision - even though he threw a lot of smart shots here which basically won him the fight.
Having said that, I had a blast watching this. The heavyweight division needs a lot more fights like this one.

Does Rotterdam have a lot of kickboxing talent?
Lots of it. However a city like Rotterdam has a lot of temptation as well. If you want to be a professional you have to sacrifice a lot. When your friends are going out, you have to rest. You need to watch your diet and train a lot. To be honest, I haven't always kept up with that. Its obvious from here that he prefers to have fun instead of training hard. But he was not in very bad shape either, just his same old usual one. The problem with his sloppiness came after the opening 10 seconds of the fight, where he was on his ass, caught by heavy blind shot, the perfectly timed right hook by Badr. From this moment on, he didn't know where he is, and he had hard time controlling his legs. As for Badr, he just didn't want to finish the fight in the first 10 seconds of round 1. He give Londt time to recover after the knockdown for obvious reasons - because of the president and because he wanted to send message that he is back in the big stage. Badr tried to finish Ismael in the closing seconds of the round but was too late. As for his shape - Badr Hari looked good, he had speed (until round 1) and power. The fight itself was very exciting, i mean 5 knockdowns in 2 rounds and half? Ismael showed heart and character, he wasn't there to loose the fight. The same thing is with Badr Hari, to be honest i didn't expect him to stand up from the knockdown in round 2 it was heavy and blind shot that put him down, but he showed heart and determination to get back in the fight. As Badr's technique - believe me, he fights very smart. He did good job, attacking the body and every single punch he throw was well timed.

We really need a promotion that has Londt and Hari in it. Just image another k-1 WGP with Rico,Saki, Spong, Hari, Londt, Ghita, Benny and Zimmerman etc... I don't like Hari and Kadyrov, but if they can bring the old and fun HW fights and k-1 WGP back than I'm 100% percent in. Kadyrov has limitless resources so it is possible. The entrence, the staredown and the badr hari promo were cool and all, I really don't think there was a bigger entrence/promo/staredown than this in history of combat sports but I still don't agree with it. With all those money they should have made another 2 legit fights.
