And talking about decisions - looking back at the Simon Marcus VS Artem Levin & Saulo Cavalari VS Zack Mwekassa II and now this one ... it makes me wonder about things in life and life in things.

I have an issue with both the fight and the decision. The issue with the fight is that it took place at high altitude. I do not blame the fighters in any way, shape or form. They did their best, gave it their all, heart and soul. But these are heavies, it's obvious they will gas a lot faster at high altitude. I appreciate they kept going as hard as they could, even though they were looking to drop dead from exhaustion at any moment in rounds 2 and 3. To a degree I hold -some- of the fighters responsible though. If you show up in the shape Edwards showed up in, you're going to gas fast wherever you fight. Oh, absolutely . I was mainly talking about the final. Yeah, Edwards could definitely show up in better shape than tonight.

I liked the HW fights. But what is next for HW division, because I don't think Benny vs Rico should be made again so soon. Plus the decision was plain and simple bad. Jahffar Wilnis vs Rico should be the next HW title fight.

There's like a 1% chance for Adegbuyi to win against Rico, and that is a KO shot. But i don't hold it against him, i believe any other HW currently is in the same situation. And this happens for one simple reason: Rico's cardio is light years ahead of the other HW's. Benny proved in the first round of their first fight that he can man handle Rico, but as the fight goes on he slows down more and more while Rico just keeps going like the Duracell bunny . Basically, if i were Benny, i would give it all i've got in the first 2 rounds and if i don't get the KO just call it a night. Why try and outpoint him when i know his cardio is 10x better than mine?

I believe that there are some fighters that are terrible matchups for Rico style-wise. Far worse matchups than Benny is. Benny just plays it too technical. I don't think you can defeat rico with nice combinations, jabs or long term tactics. Don't try to outpoint him, try to knock him out. Benny doesn't have it in him. He is technical, combinations and is a high volume striker. These things just don't work against rico.

I think Benny's problem is his stamina. If he can keep up a high pace for more than one or two rounds he has a shot against Rico. Having said that, yeah, Wilnis should have gotten the win and be next in line to fight Rico.
