Really good fight. Soda was trying here, but Noiri was just one step ahead of him all the time.
Noiri wins by Unanimous Decision.

BTW I love being able to watch an authentic Japanese K-1 event "Semi-Live" again.

Big first round for Bongiovanni with the knockdown. This is great.

Whoa! Takeru really steps it up in the second and demolishes Bongiovanni for a 3-count TKO.

I wonder if the brothers will be able to really engage this time.

First round was okay. You can see that they both put power in their attacks aimed at the body and legs, but are still a bit timid about hitting each other in the face.

Shit hits the fan in round 2. Koya has less hangups about punching his brother in the face and happily goes for the kill, he has Hirotaka against the ropes and wobbly a couple of times, but with about a minute to go Hirotaka decides it's okay to knock out his brother and explodes with a jumping knee that puts Koya down hard. Koya gets up, beats the count and survives the round.

Man, they really went after each other in the third round. A similar scenario to round two where Koya was initiating, but Hirotaka countered with a fantastic jumping knee that puts Koya down hard.
Urabe Hirotaka wins by KO in Round 3 and is the new K-1 60kg Champion.
They immediately cut to their parents in the audience, their mom was crying and their dad looked concerned.
Poor mom. Two brother beating each other up in the ring, be it professional or not, is no joke.

What started out as somewhat of a feeling out first round turned south real quick for Kimura as Kaew moved in with a punch/knee combination to the head that put Kimura down hard, unable to beat the count.
Kaew wins by KO in Round 1 and succesfully defends his belt.

Man, this was a great event and watching it on the actual day it was held without knowing the results made it that much better.
