Yeah, some smattering of superfights.
Urabe Hirotaka vs Paulo Tebar Watanabe Daiki vs Yamazaki Yoichi Matsukura Shintaro vs Akimoto Kazuya
Also the K-1 Koshien winner of last year, Shinohara Yuto will be making his pro debut.
Seems like Urabe wanted to get right back into the mix after being upsetted. The other two fights are matchups between some 70kg mainstrays. It seems like it'll be 2017 until K-1 has its next 70kg GP and they're trying to find a few competitive Japanese fighters. I would look out for Akimoto. He's sloppy but has tons of power and took Sergei Adamchuck to a split decision a few months ago.

I'm somwehat surprised they didn't get Midorikawa Tsukuru, since he did beat Souwer a while ago. Its sad, but as Sato Yoshihiro once described it, the Japanese kickboxing scene is a tribal society. All the fighters generally fight under the promotion/federation being supported by their gym and the promotions (of which there are said to be ~50 in Japan) generally don't allow their fighters to take fights elsewhere. As the newly emerging regional superpower, K-1 Japan is in a state of cold war with all the other tribes here and its some crazy Game of Thrones type feudal-mafia powergame that's going on. Midorikawa (who belongs to Shinihon) can't really compete there without severing ties with his gym and risking losing all his sponsors. Some of you might remember some of the old Japanese fighters in the J-MAX tournaments like Hinata, Kido and Nagashima. They are all trapped in their current organizations (RISE, Rebels, Big Bang). Even genuine top-level fighters like Noiri and Yuta Kubo were sidelined and stripped of income for over a year after angering their gyms. K-1 Japan is currently getting around this by bringing top fighting clubs into their network of K-1 Gyms (Team Dragon, Silver Wolf, Krazy Bee) and poaching high-level talent (i.e. Noiri). Rumor though is that the wave is starting to tip in K-1's favor. Beyond the name value, they've been pumping out sold-out events and getting the greatest press through their TV show and exposure on RIZIN. It seems like their largest competitor (the triple-promotion alliance BLADE) has collapsed over the past few months and some high level fighters there are picking up fights in K-1. We might expect to see Kido at least.

Let's hope things turn out for the best.
I remember lots of political BS back in the day when Kyokushin affiliated fighters wanted to compete in K-1.

Happening this weekend.
Man, I hope there will be a stream for this one like last event. This time I just might be able to catch it live.

Its a good call. K-1 has announced that they are partnering with Abema (a online TV network that's being run by one of the big tech companies here) and they're currently broadcasting episodes of their 'New K-1 Legend' show there. They gave no heads up at all about their last stream, but it was obviously a pilot for their official roll out and apparently they got a lot of publicity. They haven't given the specifics yet, but I think its highly likely that they'll put out a free stream.
