It's sad Collette gets the co-headliner, especially when there's a LHW tournament on the same card with 2 unknown names in it. Collette's name in the tournament would at least make it look somewhat more legit - even though he'd eventually get stomped by Zhuravlev as well.

I think it's interesting Gordon Haupt is fighting Silva. A guy I know from work occasionally trains with Haupt and I've seen him in action at Enfusion earlier this year. He has a lot of power in his hands, but I think he might prove a bit too green to take on even this current version of Silva that mostly loses.

In the tournament semi-finals he is matched with a fellow debutant, Ariel Machado of Brazil (48-6, 33 KO's). According to Cor Hemmers, he heard that GLORY was having trouble finding a replacement opponent for Zhuravlev after Cavalari was forced out with visa issues. He heard about the vacancy from Cavalari's team and petitioned for the slot.

“It's a really hard fight for him and the odds are against him for sure, but he's a fighter who has that typical Brazilian all-out aggression and he is really going to try and bring it to Zhuravlev. There were more established names we offered the fight to but they didn't want to face Zhuravlev on three weeks' notice. Machado specifically asked for it, which impressed me.”

I like it when Glory explains something. "Why is this random guy from Hemmers Brazil here?" Oh okay makes total sense.

Ummm, wtf? Zhuravlev in GLORY? IT WAS ABOUT TIME. Perfect, CHOP-CHOPPP-CHOPA and Vigney also in the card, this should be interesting one.

This is happening tomorrow, Brian Collette is fighting Myron Dennis (brother of Demoreo Dennis). They've fought before on the SFS of Glory 19 where Collette won by Decision. Card is so-so, but the event might end up being fun. Here's hoping for the best.
