Final batch of results: GLORY: COLLISIONHeavyweight Headline Bout: Rico Verhoeven defeats Badr Hari by TKO R2 (Badr broke his arm) Welterweight World Title Bout: Cedric Doumbé defeats Nieky Holzken by Split Decision Heavyweight Bout: Jamal Ben Saddik defeats Ismael Londt by Unanimous Decision Super Bantamweight Grand Prix Final Bout: Tiffany van Soest defeats Amel Dehby by Unanimous Decision www.liverkick.com/index.php/item/4168-glory-collision-and-glory-36-live-resultsThe big upset of course was Doumbé pretty clearly defeating Holzken. Rico defeating Badr wasn't a big surprise to me, but it was an interesting competitive fight and it ended in a lame way.

I will say this. Although I'm not a fan of Badr, he had a respectful postfight speech, even if he did try to secure another payday asking for the rematch LOL

I haven't seen the first batch of fights, but I did see most of the prelims and all of Collision and I have to say the Collision portion of the event was disappointing:
Badr lost by an injury, Holzken gave a lackluster performance, Londt VS Ben Saddik was two guys breathing heavy for 9 minutes without doing much and the female tournament was kinda meh. From what I've seen Harut Grigorian vs. Danijel Solaja and Danyo Ilunga vs. Michael Duut were easily the best pair of fights of the event.
Having said that I have yet to see Glory 36 and from what I've been reading most of those fights were solid as well.

One more thing. A lot of Badr fans are truly disgusting, disrespectful people. They're clearly not fans of the sport, but just fans of sensation. Brawling in the crowd and climbing into the ring with Badr. Really? Just sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. Security nowhere to be found of course.
All these people deserve to be tasered (if not worse) and at least a temporary ban from events.

The funny thing was that everyone said Rico would jab and outkick Badr and Badr would control the ring and would be the agressive one. It turned out Badr jabbed and outkicked Rico and Rico controlled the ring and was the agressive one. They switched places )

Weird how both Saki and Ghita are just facebook warriors nowadays they both keep saying for over a year now that they're coming back and they're still only fighting on facebook.

I feel for Saki, I really do, he's going through a tough time, but this tough talk isn't fooling anyone. Either he can get into shape to fight or he can't.

It's a shame Hari vs Verhoeven ended the way it did. Hari looked sharp and had me wondering where he's been keeping this form stashed away for the last couple of years. I hope a rematch or another fight is on the cards soon as possible for Hari. I enjoyed the spectacle of all those fans spontaneously rushing the ring at the start of the fight. I'm sure it was frustrating as hell and quite unnerving for the event staff, security and others in attendance but it made for a very powerful image. These guys were so excited and happy to Badr. You don't really see that kind of thing every day.

Welcome aboard, Dozens! You don't really see that kind of thing every day. You do in soccer and they're called hooligans. This is not something we should condone or be in awe of.
