ohh. I was bagging on her for getting her ass handed to her. and then being handed a title shot after a year long layoff. lol. I mean I expected this but I don't think its the smartest thing to do right away.

Oh it definitely doesn't seem like the smartest idea, but her 12-0 record with all finishes before her loss warrant her getting that instant title shot, even with the one year layoff.
She can get her ass kicked again for all I care though, she comes off as a crazy person.

I guess when you get schalacked by someone, i think you should have to get over that hump first before you go after the belt. I think she should have had to fight holly. but they'd never do that to her.
*and if holly were still champ id not even be commenting because she WOULD have to fight holly to get the belt. lol. |

I think this RR comeback is the reason why Dana White has pissed all over GSP's attempts at coming back. Can't be outshining Ronda when Dana's already declared her comeback "the biggest UFC PPV of all time" and the new-ish owners of the company also happen to manage her.
GSP went on UFC Tonight a few months back and was basically asking to come back at the beginning of December PPV in Canada, as long as he was treated fairly in the cash department, but when asked, Dana merely denied and said that GSP didn't heave the heart to fight again. With Ronda coming back on 30/12, a GSP comeback puts a real spanner in the works for the media blitz the UFC are desperate to shower on the Golden Girl.
To me personally, a GSP comeback is a far bigger deal than a Rousey one.
Hopefully, he may return in early 2017 when the coast is clear. That is, if he isn't pissed off at the UFC for backhanding him, which likely goes back to GSP wanting to vacate the WW title, which really pissed off White.

Cyborg and Holm are angst-opponents and neither of them wear the belt. If Ronda loses to Nunes in her comeback at least she "lost to the champ after a long layoff". @ themagi: I wasn't aware of how all that played out as I'm not following MMA quite as closely as kickboxing. |
