The worst part is that VPNs don't work on a PC. Gotta us a phone or a tablet. I paid good money for my VPN, damnit. Softether worked fine on PC and that's just a free vpn. Dunno why other vpn's wouldn't work unless abema actively bans them or it's a shitty vpn provider who's ip's don't match the countries they say they do.

via fighttimes (or bestrafer?) on twitter. Tried softether once in the past and was nowhere near fast enough to reliably stream anything. Wouldn't have bothered without them telling it was usable now, at least the selection of Japanese servers was pretty good during the K-1 event.

It's usually really good about everything. I can use it for literally everything else, but Abema sees through it. I think it is able to look up info about the computer or something. VPNU has a browser extension that can usually do extra masking, but for Abema is just doesn't work... Not that I mind using my tablet.

The first time when I watch a k-1 card in a while and I have to say it made me almost cry. The production level... the ring, the color, the graphics, the atmosphere coming from the arena/public... Only if k-1 would manage to become again a force... glory isn't doing it for me... it feels like an american promotion mixed with it's showtime.

If you haven't watched the past 10 or so K-1 Japan events yet, treat yourself and watch them. They're all equally awesome.

No matter what any organization, kickboxing or MMA, will try, they will never match the awesomeness of k-1. K-1 didn't feel just like a simple company/fighting organization... it felt like the pit of hell, the jungle of warriors. It felt so intense. The fights, fighters, tournaments, the narrative and the matchups were awesome too. And the final 8 WGP is the best thing that can happen in life when it comes to entertaining.
