Wait what? Morosanu vs Lewis-Parry? Do they think Morosanu is someone to throw at someone like Parry? If Morosanu comes prepared (and i see no reason why he wouldn't) he has all the chances in the world to eat Parry alive. Imo good choice to get Morosanu on board. He is a showman and a very, very likeable guy

I think it could be a fun brawl, but Morosanu is definitely a heavy favorite going into that fight and it would be great to see him put Lewis-Parry in his place. It all depends on which Morosanu shows up. We must also take into account that Morosanu comes off three losses.

That's true. On the other hand, he basically dominated the fight with Sam but somehow lost. And i might be biased here, but his fight with Samedov looked staged to me. I've only seen it once, live, but i remember none landed anything significant until a knee to the body from Samedov to which Morosanu just didn't want to continue. I don't know, looked weird to me. Didn't even know he had another fight after Samedov got to look that up. Anyway, seeing as this is in Glory, i hope he gets motivated to come in top form and do work on Parry. Should be a fun fight either way.

I thought Sam VS Morosanu was pretty close, but I still thought Morosanu had done enough to take the decision. As for the Samedov fight, Morosanu basically fought with an injury and tried to end it quickly. Something like that usually doesn't work against a fighter of Samedov's calibre (even Badr found that out).
Anyway I like the first two matchups, hope the rest of the card will look fun as well.

Yeah, sorry, didn't knew. Just found out Morosanu had a spine injury and just recently (like a month ago) announced on facebook that he is thankful to a doctor named "Druta Vasile" that he and his team gave him the chance to continue fighting. Glad that he is better now.

I just don't think that Morosanu has been up to snuff of late. Injuries start to stack up, outside responsibilities grow and the time in the gym fades.

We have a full card (OP updated): liverkick.com/index.php/item/4209-card-for-glory-38-chicago-on-feb-24thLooks like Chi Lewis-Parry VS Catalin Morosanu is off (Lewis-Parry injured?). Maurice Greene should definitely be an easier opponent for Morosanu. I hope the TBA in the LHW tournament will be filled by Michael Duut. It would be criminal to have a contender tournament with Ilunga, but not Duut.

Yeah, it needs to be Duut.
GLORY needs better cohesion in their divisions.

From sherdog "Zack Mweskassa was annouced that will fight Andrei Stoica in the semifinal" from a fresh user but still curious, any legitimacy to his claim? I enjoy Stoica's fighting style but lately he went down hill badly. Maybe he will deliver a surprise, i believe he is capable, if true he will be in this tourney.

If Duut is injured or already scheduled to fight somewhere else I'd be sort of okay with it.
Honestly though, there are more than enough fighters much more deserving than Stoica, even within Glory's own rankings.
Have they forgotten about Zhuravlev, Hameur-Lain, Bouzidi, Kemayo?

I like watching Mwekassa punch heads off of shoulders. a Stoica's would be even better.

Looks like the info was bullshit, it was "rescheduled". The 4th fighter is Hameur Lain, which is a way worse choice than Andrei Stoica in my opinion. I guess they didn't had too many choices for this 4th spot.
