I think it would be a good fight to decide the next HW contender. How do you see this go?

Straight rematch Rico vs Hari. Although i see this as a legitimate KO win for Rico, i still want to see a direct rematch. Was an unexpected tactic but Badr was winning the long game. Then Rico lands a knee on Badr's elbow and it's all over. Legit win imo but still, i'd like to see a rematch. And i doubt Hari is interested in fighting anyone else. Unless someone else rises to be the new champion, he won't want to fight anyone else other than Rico.

While I'd love to see Rico vs Hari II, didn't Londt earn a title shot from winning a contender tournament? I know that he just lost to Ben Saddik, but apparently they're still giving Hameur-Lain the title shot after getting KTFO'd by Zhuravlev so I would assume the same logic applies here

Londt stands the least of a chance to beat Rico out of all the contenders and he has looked awful in his last 2 fights. I think title fights should be given to those that are the best and stand the best chance to beat Rico. Londt is a good fighter and most of the time very exciting to watch fighting, but he is too flat footed for Rico, it would look very similar with the kharitonov fight. And fighters that lost their last fight should almost never get a title shot unless if they are the best contender with the best chance to beat the champ, which Londt isn't the case.

Londt posted on Facebook that after the fight he had to go to the hospital, because he injured his arm in the second round and only had one arm left during the rest of the fight. The reality of it is, his arm injury isn't what lost him the fight. Showing up badly prepared is. He needs to lose at least 10 kgs and put in a serious training camp for his next fight. Have him fight Wilnis, Brestovac or Inocente and see how he does. I don't like to admit it, because I don't want to see it happen again so soon, but I feel like the most competitive fight for Rico at the moment (other than a rematch with Badr) may be fighting Adegbuyi again.

On the topic of Hari VS Ben Saddik, I thought Jamal looked just as terrible as Londt did yesterday and in this shape he doesn't stand much of a chance even against the Badr we saw yesterday.

Adegbuyi? I doooooon't know. First fight showed clearly that he is way below Rico's level. He looked good in the first round, but from the 2nd he already looked wasted and i doubt he improved his stamina so much that he can go 5 rounds with Rico. I don't even know who could pose a real challenge for Rico at the moment, from the guys that are left. Maybe, with a BIG "if", if Ben Saddik trains hard and loses 10kg or so i could actually see him posing a threat. Other than that, i don't know ...

Are you serious? Ben Saddik is a slow fighter ever to win the title. He can lose even 10 kilograms. Adegbuyi is training now at the gym of Rico Verhoeven and Ghita said he will personally help Benny at a rematch.
Ben Saddik had nothing for Ghita and only knocked out or knocked down actually lower guys than the world class.
And first we have anyway the contenders that won tournament.

You know what it hurts the sport the most? Same fights all over again with the same opponents and the same exit. As much as i hate the boxing way of handling fighters in their carrier (fighting lame asses till they have 30-0 record and winning the title in the right moment from wasted champions or if the titles are vacant) actually makes it more interesting. In the end of the day the big fights are always avoided in the early stages but then when they are hyped up for years and when the fighters build impressive record and look unbeatable (althought they fight weak oposition) it makes it more intetesting to watch. Back in the K-1 days you had many big names in the hw, cuz the format was freakin 8man tournament and made it unpredictable, cuz you never knew who will get injured, take more punishement, or have better luck in the final match and was always competitive. You had qualifications and stuff and so on. What do you have in GLORY? Predictability. This is why the divisions get killed like this, as long as you sign good fighter - throw him in the lions in his second organization fight, if he doesnt win the title give him another shot after two months, then again after 4months, then again after 8 months... Althought he gets clearly dominated every time.
