LiverKick Rankings December 2016: A New Welterweight Kingwww.liverkick.com/index.php/item/4190-liverkick-rankings-december-2016-a-new-welterweight-kingQuite a few changes over the past three months! Some notes: - Andrei Gersimchuk leaves the HW rankings. - Hesdy Gerges leaves the HW rankings. - Ionu Iftimoaie leaves the LHW rankings. - Andrei Stoica leaves the LHW rankings. - Luis Tavares leaves the LHW rankings. - Ibrahim El Boustati leaves the MW rankings (decision against Verlinden overturned). - Mustapha Haida leaves the WW rankings. - Karim Ghajji leaves the WW rankings. - Josh Jauncey leaves the LW rankings. - Jomthong Chuwattana leaves the LW rankings. - Gabriel Varga leaves the FW rankings. - Massaro Glunder leaves the FW rankings. Not sure how Kryklia ended up ranked so high at HW, even if you count his LHW victory over Kwasi as a HW victory as well. Moiseev actually dropped a rank from previously, but there is no marker for it. Based on his results & performances 2016, I feel Schilling should be ranked lower. Unless I'm missing something, FW rank #4 is named Hideaki Yamazaki not Hidaeki Suzuki. Other than that I think it looks fine.

Based on his results & performances 2016, I feel Schilling should be ranked lower. Guessing Wilnis was ranked pretty high when Kryklia had beaten beat him. Felt Schilling should have maybe been out of the top10 last time already but it's not too bad.

Good point about Kryklia, but I feel he should have been ranked sooner if that's actually part of the reason.

Yeah, Kryklia beat Wilnis at Heavyweight when Wilnis was #3.
I'm not sure how we missed that way back in January, but we did. It's one of those weird, weird things that just happens.
Of course, over the past two days I found two errors in that Dylan Salvador needed to be ranked, which meant Christian Baya's stint on the top ten was all of a day. Also Alexander Stetsurenko beat Valent, so he's 5, which means Ghajji dropped.
Not sure why I wrote Suzuki. I'm just tired. Four hours a sleep a night is starting to kill me, I fear.
Oh yeah, Ibrahim El Boustati was REALLY upset that he got dropped. He tried to use Andrew Tate as proof he should be ranked in the top ten.

His argument was that he's undefeated, and it's like, I try to be as kind as I can, but when a fight gets overturned, you can't really say that anymore. Filip Verlinden doesn't hold a win that doesn't count as a loss for him.
He's young and good, he'll get there (which is what I told him), but man, if I knew years ago that fighters would start arguing with me because of these lists I probably would have never bothered. If/when someone gets pissed at me, they'll sometimes say "well, CombatPress has me here" and it's like, cool, that's why I'm glad someone else is doing this as well, because then the guy left off of their list can go rage at them.
It's also shitty when you look at someone who now has a Wikipedia page literally because they are ranked and saying 'well, they gotta go, wait until this wiki page disappears and then we get hate because of that.' Because oh man, that happens.

Lol, How/why/what/when did it become a necessity for certain people to be ranked to be deemed worthy enough to have a wiki page? Who decides on that? Because there are plenty not-so-good fighters in other disciplines that have wiki pages no problem.
In kickboxing there's this weird thing that certain fighters (or rather fighters from certain promotions) don't have a wiki page. What are they trying to cover up?

Lol, El Boustati is kidding nobody but himself with that 45-0 hat. My understanding is Enfusion is kidding themselves too by not recognizing it.

Wikipedia is a joke when it comes to "notability". requirements: fought for a world title of a major organization or promotion: -K-1, WMC, ISKA, WAKO-Pro, Glory, It's Showtime, WKN, WBC Muaythai, PKA (through 1986), WKA (through 2000)), -been ranked in the world top 10 by a major, preferably two, independent publication that meets the definition of a reliable source, or -been a Lumpinee or Rajadamnern champion.

Yep. Which is why people get so upset about the rankings all of the time.
