The suspension is backdated to April 8, 2016, which means Mir will be eligible for reinstatement in just under a year.

So basically it's just one more year. However for Mir, who turns 38 soon and hasn't been doing too well lately to begin with, such a long lay off can't be good.

nothing has been good lately with anything having to do with frank mir and mma. lol. and he wants to still fight. he needs some lower level competition in a different org.
