Things turn a bit more fiesty in Round 2. Collette hits Hameur-Lain with an uppercut after the ref calls for a break. Hameur-Lain is irritated and begins taunting Collette. Collette connects with a few right straights that clock Hameur-Lain's head back. Hameur-Lain comes back with an overhand right that puts down Collette hard!
The ref stops it. Collette is still awake, but definitely out of it a bit.

Zinedine Hameur-Lain defeats Brian Collette by KO R2 (Overhand Right).
You know what, despite going down Collette didn't do half bad and made Hameur-Lain work for it. Collette deserves an easier opponent on an upcoming SFS with actual preparation time.

Up Next: Light Heavyweight Contender Tournament - SemiFinal #2 Danyo Ilunga vs. Ariel Machado
I see this fight going one of two ways: A weird clinchy fight or a weird, hard brawl. Either way, I expect weirdness!

Machado bleeding from the top of his head, I have no idea what caused it, but the ref says fight on.

So far things are going like expected: A somewhat awkward looking brawl, Machado is connecting a lot more than Ilunga, who hits a lot of air.

Machado wobbles Ilunga early in the 2nd, but visibly tires throughout the round. Ilunga could take over in the 3rd.

Ilunga gets counted for.. what was a slip?

So yeah, we got a weird brawl alright. Even without the count, I think Ilunga wouldn't get this decision.
Let's see.

That was an obvious slip on the replay, "good job" ref, again

Just saw the replay, that actually looks like a pretty legit knockdown.

I'm not sure it looked pretty legit to me in the replay, but like a slip during the fight.
However, regardless of the knockdown I don't think Ilunga would have won either way.
