Eh, his movement is as stiff as can be and he's never exactly been agile. Do you favor Brestovac in this matchup with the weight difference? He's a moderate underdog to Hesdy this time. I didn't see a preview podcast on LiverKick this week, but I always enjoy listening to it after the cards when available. We've been doing post-fight ones now. There was... sorta an issue with the last one, but there will be one this weekend. Not sure that the weight makes much of a difference in this fight. Brestovac is a more aggressive fighter while Hesdy tends to sit back and wait for things to happen, peppering in his combos in between. I love Hesdy, but I don't think he wins this fight.

Interesting. I personally am backing Hesdy pretty big in this bout, as I always like when I see a fighter in kickboxing or MMA show up in noticeably better shape at the weigh-ins than previous fights, whether that means more muscular or leaner in this case, as I feel that they tend to over-perform and win more often that not when that happens. In the main event Serhiy Adamchuk vs Robin van Roosmalen will be interesting if Serhiy is more active and aggressive like he was in his most recent bout than some of his previous bouts. Robin talking about how he has no more challenges at featherweight in Glory after tomorrow and the fact that he has an MMA bout already scheduled are red flags to me, especially in a bout where I think it will be very competitive and where Adamchuk is a substantial underdog with the bookmakers.

Undercard before SFS streamed this time too it seems.
Trying to figure out what to watch today as there's a bunch of shows on at the same time... Think I have to skip Glory maincard for Enfusion (live on boxnation) just because Glory I can catch afterwards and Enfusion probably not as easily.

That's pretty cool. Do we have matchups listed for that?

Nope.

Today is merciless.

Well not seeing the undercard stream anywhere.
All Star Fight with Buakaw, couple Kunlun 70kg quarterfinalists and Kulebin streaming on youtube for anyone waiting for Glory to start.

Pretty much exactly what happened. Poor Hesdy.

Hesdy is like the one guy in HW I still have a lingering K-1 attachment from. Pity his Glory run has been so plagued.

I haven't seen a full Enfusion card in a long time since they used to run them on a loop for free on their web site. But BoxNation appears to be replaying today's Enfusion 53 on Wednesday.

Missed watching it live, because I was fixing a laptop at a friends house al day yesterday.
I was able to avoid spoilers for the SFS, but since Glory's main cards always take forever to find their way online I spoiled those results for myself while looking up clips.
At this point I've watched everything except the RvR/Adamchuk fight which I'm reading was better than expected.
And from what I actually have seen I must say this was actually a great event that had a little bit of everything. Good technical fights, some brawls and some great knockouts.
Standouts to me were Brestovac murdering Hesdy in less than a round - I blame Dave and Magi for jinxing this fight and keeping Hesdy from being awesome. In all seriousness though this was a great KO, but I feel bad for it happening to Hesdy. He just can't seem to catch a break in Glory. He got stood up by Chi multiple times, was on the bad end of some terrible decisions and when he finally gets to fight a top contender he gets knocked out brutally. BUT, Hesdy is still only 33 which isn't too old for a heavyweight and actually pretty crazy considering how long he has been fighting top level guys. He'll come back from this.
Another standout was Belgaroui just making Wilnis look bad and taking care of business. In spite of the difference in reach, I didn't expect this to happen at all.
Michael Duut winning the tournament in what, ~1 minute (!) was pretty impressive as well, even if it was against low-tier competition.
I feel Zouggary/Glunder did not warrant the hype. It was a good solid fight, but people were going crazy over it in advance which I didn't really get. Don't get me wrong it was definitely on my radar, but it wasn't even one of my most anticipated fights on this card, let alone the year/season. Also, I'm not sure if I agree with the decision. Obviously it was a close fight and had the down in round 3 actually made it to a count I could see the argument better, but I scored it 29-28 in favor of Glunder. I think one judge even had it 30-27 for Zouggary? That's crazy.
One complaint though that I had before that was now solidified; Manny Mancha had no place in the tournament. It's unfair, almost cruel matchmaking. Due to a freak injury of Hadar he gets a win after already having been beaten up pretty bad, only to get murdered by Duut in 10 seconds. He did manage to break Duut's nose in those 10 seconds with that left hook though, lol. Duut mentioned it in the post fight interview he did at the Ziggo Sport booth.
Beztati/Sitmonchai, Danenberg/Uega and Hessling/Koprivlensk were all entertaining bouts as well.
Glory needed an event like this to redeem themselves from the previous couple of turds.
I just hope the rest of the season is more like this one and less like Glory 44.

BTW there was a fun bit of banter between Rico and Remy in this video. www.ziggosport.nl/fragment/3799-https-zst-cache-cdp-triple-it-nl-spoton-20170930_59cff26e62858f160c90efbd-mp4.htmlIt's in Dutch so I'm gonna paraphrase/translate some stuff: Presentator: "Rico, you and Badr looked awfully friendly toward each other. Can you explain what the two of you were talking about?" - Rico: "You would have to ask Badr." Rico kept it decidedly vague and refused to go into details, but said he's ready for a rematch. Then he pointed to Remy not wanting to fight him which got all of them laughing. Presentator:"So what happened between you two meeting in the ring. Why didn't it happen yet?" - Remy:"Rico wants it, I want it, but we need a third party saying yes." - Presentator:"Like a promotion?" - Remy:"Yes, a promotiom needs to show interest. In this case, since Rico is tied to Glory it would need to happen under the Glory banner and the moment, there doesn't seem to be enough interest from the promotion." - Rico:"Remy, we know Glory showed interested since they actually approached you and there were talks." - Remy:"There were talks, but we did not come to an agreement." - Presentator:"Is this about money?" - Both Remy and Rico:"Yeah" - Rico:"Remy demanding an unrealistically high amount to me is the same as having no interest to fight" - Remy:"It appears you were at that meeting!? You have no idea what my demand was." - Presentator:"Is there still a chance of this happening?" - Remy:"There is, but first I'm fighting Melvin Manhoef. After that we'll see." - Rico:"Come on, you against Melving Manhoef? What is that? That's not even a fight!" - Presentator:"BUT YOU'RE FIGHTING BIGFOOT!?" - Remy:"Haha, exactly!" - Rico:"Have you seen what that guy did to Overeem? Besides you'll make a lot more fighting me than fighting Melvin!" - Remy:"Apparently you attend all my meetings!" - Rico:"Then let me put it like this: You versus me is a bigger fight than you versus Melvin." - Remy:"But there is also more on the line against you." - Presentator:"Can we shake hands to you two working it out and making this fight happen in 2018?" And they ended up shaking on it. Rico sort of taking a jab at Manhoef was stupid and I'm happy the Ziggo guy immediately brought up Bigfoot.
