I don't know man, as someone who plays the Yakuza games a LOT I'm a sucker for Japanese emo ballads lol These guys are flailing around like they're in a PS2 Yakuza combat engine.

Eh, relatively early KO. I'll take it.

Sugimoto Hitoshi defeats RUI by KO R2
That was a pretty good KO from a bad position.
Unfortunately Sugimoto looks like a blown up middleweight who could seriously fight LHW at best.

It's the smallest possible venue, but it's good to see it packed a day a after Christmas.

Apparently Wajima (blue) is a K-1 amateur champ. 6-1 with all wins from KOs so seems promising.
Yamazaki is a veteran. Gotta imagine this is meant as a changing of the guard fight.

Wajima on that leg destruction mission. He should throw a ton more of those before trying another highkick.

On a funny sidenote; They appear to be using the exact same ring mat they did in their last event.
I specifically notice, because I've been recreating it for Fire Pro on the first day of Christmas.

The high kick to knee spam finally got through.
Good. Japan needed a decent 70kg hope.
