adesanya won a very dominant decision. tavares def went to the hospital after that one to get patched up. he called out Usman n spoke some african to him.

adesanya has a big big future in mma. Even now he would beat Robert whittaker if they were to fight. Dude needs a bit more urgency to finish the fights... he could have gotten tavares out of there way sooner if he really wanted. This might cost him in fights agaisnt guys like romero who can catch you the longer the fight goes.

I'm not really buying that being the reason, though: didn't JJ mention something about Pereira's Glory contract not giving him the freedom to leave anytime soon?
I like Pereira as a fighter. He worked hard and improved a lot over the past few years. I feel a fighter's quality should speak for itself and if someone's good enough they'll get noticed. If he's serious about getting into the UFC he could have just let his manager contact a UFC talent scout and say 'just google him'.
Taking the social media approach - whether it's effective or not - is attention-whoring. I can forgive it if it's at least done in an entertaining way. This is just "HEY I BEAT THIS SUCCESFULL GUY! #EVERYBODY"
Pereira is actually good enough that he doesn't have to weasel his way into things Chael Sonnen style.
Just my two cents of course.
