Apparently the Rotterdam police tweeted that some crowd members got into fights in and outside of the venue.

I think you're the only one in this thread that made a smart decision by going away for a bit. Yikes. I forget which one of you said this, but they really shoot themselves in the foot by splitting their top fights between the SFS and the ESPN portion. They've defaulted to loading the SFS with meaningful fights for Fight Pass, then putting the headliner in the ESPN and filling the rest with a 4 man tournament hoping it fills the blanks. Its like a sandwich only the filling is mediocrity. |

I haven't regularly watched Glory for nearly 5 years because of cards like this, I'm glad they found a way to make the product (presumably) sustainable and financially solvent but fucking hell watching the top portion it's hard to believe this is my favourite sport

Because they need to stick a fight in between the tournament semi-finals so the participants have some time to rest and the tournament final, which is in actuality the penultimate bout of the card. That doesn't excuse such a low quality fight even making the card. You can rationalize it as much as you want, some awful decisions were made concerning the main card. It boggles my mind how anyone can defend this. It boggles my mind how someone can be so consistently negative and miserable about something that's supposed to be entertainment and an enjoyable pastime, but there you are yet again. Makes me happy to be me and not you since I'm enjoying myself and making money with the card on top of it. |
