Zhuravlev fought like he did against Machado where he just sorta coasted, then turned up the heat when he realized that he had to.

Except Zhuravlev actually threw some hard kicks here as well. When he was using the left lowkick with success I was begging for a left highkick, but it never came.

On to the main card!
First fight: Stoyan Koprivlenski vs. Josh Jauncey
Will the trend of surprising competitiveness show its presence here as well?

You:re up at 5AM to watch G52? That's dedication Actually, I'm up for the cup noodles. G52 just happens to be on at the same time. j/k It's a long weekend over here due to Easter and it felt appropriate to watch the first Glory event without tournaments, in spite of my otherwise so-so expectations. It's been good stuff so far, though! Let's hope this manages to keep the momentum going.

Really good fight by Jauncey and hopefully it earned him a much needed win. Happy to be wrong about my prediction!

Good clean technique throughout. No standout moments where one scored something flashy, but I think Josh was landing cleaner in R2/3

Josh Jauncey defeats Stoyan Koprivlenski by Split Decision.
Not sure how 2 jurors saw this in Koprivlenski's favor.

Josh Jauncey defeats Stoyan Koprivlenski by Split Decision. Not sure how 2 jurors saw this in Koprivlenski's favor. After this, we should have 50 judges instead of 3. We need the law of big numbers
