At this point I don't really know what to say that I haven't said already a million times. It feels like every single UFC event for the past two years has been plagued by last minute fight cancellations due to injuries and it becomes hard for me to buy that it's all just bad luck/planning/bad timing/coincidence.
Furthermore, their idea of marketing is to create obvious artificial beef by having their poster boy McGregor act like a jackass to hype up potential future matchups that may or may not happen since his actual activity as a fighter is practically zero: over the past 18 months McGregor fought exactly once and it wasn't even in MMA!! At age 29 it feels like he's throwing away his best years. Not that he needs to fight at the moment from a financial point of view, but from the perspective of him being a talented fighter in his prime it's just a huge waste.
The sad thing is that the casual JUST BLEED fans are probably eating that TMZ shit up so in that sense the UFC may actually be succeeding without ever living up to any sort of promise.
