I didn't know Mo was STILL active, good luck to him. Also to your buddy, of course. Didn't he fight in a bigger promotion at one point?
Oh and "Ken Shamrock Presents" lol as if that name adds any credibility.

Valor bare knuckles first event is over. results are below. unfortunately Mighty Mo didnt win the tournament but he got to the finals. Estevan Payan also lost. so my two biggest interests fell short. oh the wife beater won too. woot.

Featured Bouts: Ishe Smith defeated Estevan Payan via unanimous decision

Lavar Johnson defeated James McSweeney via KO – Round 1, 0:27
Heavyweight Tournament Semi-Finals: Mark Godbeer defeated Jack May via KO – Round 1, 0:50
Heavyweight Tournament Semi-Finals: Mighty Mo defeated Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou via TKO – Round 3, 1:26
Undercard / Local Athletes: Chris Jensen defeated Zach Thumb via TKO – Round 1, 2:42

Mo took 3 knock downs in the final fight of the night which was for the heavyweight belt. he tried but didnt make the 10 count on the third knock down. godbeer was just too much for him. hes a decent fighter and 13 years younger. it is what is it. now lets see if everybody gets paid.

A lot of K-1 vets; Jack May, James McSweeney, Mo, Carter Williams and Richard Cheek as in Rick Cheek?
Too bad about Mo and your buddy Estevan losing.
It's crazy that Mo is still fighting at 48. He was on a losing streak over 10 years ago, but still his career had somewhat of a second wind in promotions like Road FC where he strung up quite a few wins.
Mo turns 49 this year so I hope he quits before he gets serious health issues from taking too much punishment. Just try to make enough bank to buy pizza for his 900 kids for a while and hang them up. He can still be involved as a trainer and make money that way. For a guy who got into the game as late as he did he had a great career and insane amount of fights. That experience is invaluable if he aspires to be a trainer.
