Expect Vakhitov to get knocked out in Highlight Reel fashion for the first time. I see what you did there. Care to explain? You're of the opinion the way Stoica got smoked by Ilunga was not highlight reel worthy?

So let's look at the Stoica brothers' last five fights, who they fought and who they have beaten: Andrei Bogdan Yeah, somehow I'm not really convinced by your solid arguments. By protecting them too much SuperKombat are pretty much ruining most of Romania's hot prospects. It should be pretty telling that the only people defending SuperKombat and their fighters are usually pissed off Romanian fans.

I think that Irimia does a great job of marketing his fighters and pushing his narratives. The Stoicas are young, marketable brothers with some power and skill, but perhaps aren't the best fighters in the world. There is no shame in that.
Andrei probably has more potential than Bogdan to be a world class fighter at his weight, but I'd argue that Bogdan's weight class is a lot more competitive overall while Andrei's is a bit more top-heavy.
I don't want to be that guy, but the losses on the SuperKombat cards are pretty embarrassing considering how the matchmaking works.
Vakhitov's resume is just more impressive.
I'll expect a few more fake Facebook accounts being created by angry Romanians to make vague threats at me if any are reading this, but c'est la vie.

Seriously, it used to just be weird emails, now it's fake Facebook accounts.
Literally no other countries have fans like this, either.

All the problems of Bogdan came after the accident. The 2012 version was different. Note that Bugaenko even won Tatneft after and is on a run of many wins. Then Jorgen Loren could be at this moment in the form of his life (note that even not in his primes, Spong and Ilunga in a 5-round match couldn't stop him, in It's Showtime). He could be a Glory material, please ask K1power about him. Quitusisa is sneaky fighter.
I agree with you all that Bogdan was protected until 2014 (if we exclude the Sikking fight) compared to other Romanians but he's simply underperforming. I see him in the trainings and he's improving.

I agree that Bogdan looks a lot worse since the accident. I also think he relies on flashy moves too much. You watch him fight and half the stuff he throws are spinning kicks and jumping knees.
I also think that SuperKombat protects most of their Romanian stars. It's okay to give your stars easy fights from time to time, but they have to prove themselves eventually. When's the last time Morosanu fought anyone good? Brian Douwes is the best guy he fought in 2 years, and that's pretty telling. He usually fights circus level opponents.

Morosanu is involved in local politics, he decides the path of his career.

Andrei stoica is skilled and a good fighter, though not a top 10.In future, he could become a top 10. Bogdan stoica isn't even a top 30 fighter in his wieght class. He isn't skilled either. I don't think he is a good fighter. Just an decent one, nothing more. I don't think he will ever be top 20.
