New channel on free to air UK TV called Freesports which launched within the last fortnight, which has been airing Inside Glory throughout the week. Colour me flabbergasted that they are airing GLORY.46 live at 3am UK time on Sunday morning. If you have Freeview/Youview you can find it on channel 95, as I understand it the channel is available on all platforms with the exception of Virgin.
If you don't live in the UK/Ireland, then the above is probably gobbledeeschmazz.

In more 'nobody is hyped' news, this is the worst week I've had for traffic since I've switched to a different CMS back in May.

I can be hyped over it if it makes you feel better.

Well promoters gotta promote I suppose. Surely someone forgot the word "Glory" from that?

Nope.
I pressed him on it and he really believes it.

Is this really happening now? Glory's website says it happens in more than a day and i can't find anything in my local TV schedule.\
Edit: nevermind, i managed to find it. It's on digisport 4 (!) in 20 minutes, they never showed it there. Thanks for the heads up!

Personally after seeing this fight and his fight against ismael lazaar I think rico will lose against both Ben saddik and Badr Hari in the rematch. Once again rico boxing is looking pretty bad. He wasn't even able to outboxed bigfoot who was fighting on one leg due to the low kicks. Nice high kick though from Rico. Bigfoot even managed to land some of his own punches and was able to have some flurries of punches on rico, though mostly blocked, still impressive that he was able to close the distance, not get countered and let his hands go against supposedly the best HW kickboxer out there.
Of course, we don't know how affected Ben saddik will be by his cancer that came back in this spring , but if he comes in decent shape, he should beat Rico.
Also, God dammit bigfoot is so slow that he gives akebono a run for his money for the title of the slowest kickboxer ever.

When Rico can do spinkicks you know somebody is just absolute fucking trash. Jesus.
I'm not sure that this fight gives any clear indication on how the JBS or Badr rematch would go, because Bigfoot was just a giant sack of potatoes that at one point put his head down, started throwing punches and pushing Rico into a corner, only for it to be completely ineffective.
Also, who knew that Alex Pereira would so easily have the tools to beat Marcus? I've never thought much of Pereira as a fighter, but he had the perfect plan to best Marcus. Kudos.

Also, Atsushi Onari saved Bigfoot's life by being present throughout the fight and by stopping it when he did. I can't state this enough: good refereeing just saved GLORY from the visual of Bigfoot on the ground in a heap while the MMA community did their "told ya so's" that they're already doing, but instead with one guy hurt.

Thought either could win it really but didn't expect it to go the way it did. Thought it was perfect for the situation as well.

I didn't wake up early enough to watch live but I thought the card was very entertaining. Pretty good first effort in China, especially the main card. Glory's production value with the lights and giant video screens and the high contrast lighting from the ring to the audience makes for a very pleasing video quality. Good graphics on screen too. The overall look is far superior to any other kickboxing promotion in terms of the visual and audio presentation. The Qualification Tournament was way more fun than expected with Kubo getting a big upset in the semi-finals. Tafa is a fun addition to the heavyweight ranks. And Pereira looked great in the main event. I thought he was going to stop Marcus after the knockdown in round 2. The ESPN 3 stream glitched out even in the replay so it was missing all of round 3 and half of round 4, but I was not surprised to see him take the belt with a wide UD.
On the SFS I was a bit baffled when they announced that Shanghai Gao had a point deducted at some point during the fight, which cost him the decision if my math is correct. Glory should start a men's bantamweight division at 63 kg or so and sign Hongxing Kong as one of the main players since his head kick knockout was amazing. I was glad to see the referee stop Bigfoot after he took that head kick from Rico early in round 2 as well as I had a lot of money on the under 1½ rounds. I guess all's well that ends well there. Hopefully we see Za Za Sor Aree again too in a fight that has a real resolution and some of the other winners like Petch make a quick turnaround as well.
