To rub salt into the wound, once again, every single one of your "predictions" has been a mere wish.
Cases and deaths lag by several weeks. You knew that, but chose to ignore it.

Seriously what the fuck is wrong with this no-talent "Chatterton" hack. He's not only annoying and stupid, but also super, super, super creepy.

LOL
The MAGA-embracing right-wing nationalists and New-Right intellectuals can huff and puff to tell us how they have transformed the party into American Working Class United against the wealthy and woke America Inc., but the *actual* Republicans only think of that as election gimmick to take advantage of, and are all itching for the same old "Become rich, or take a hike" crap like this.
Ron Johnson is really a perfect example, man. In his mind, all the crazy Trumpy talk and this traditional conservative line of thoughts perfectly coexist, in harmony even, because he's one of the worst scumbags on this planet and thus completely capable of being like that. And you know what that kind of people are called? Republican politicians.

It's hilarious that all those right-wing assholes have been trying frantically to copycat what AOC has been doing on the social media. But since none of them have even a fifth of AOC's talent, all they do is make it more vulgar, more gratuitous, *edgier*, and the end result is usually just grotesque celebration of bad taste all around.
AOC is their inner goddess to jerk off to, and that complex really, really shows everywhere. I mean, for one, it's obvious that Madison Cawthorn had a massive crush on her.

The idea that a polity governed mostly by a branch where the party that received 15 million fewer votes nationwide than the other one can be the majority party and practically ruled by another branch that consists of nine unelected people in robes is some sort of a model of demos for the rest of the world is simply crazy.
I mean, you have to think about that for a bit. Sure, America is permanently "work in progress," as they say, but I'm talking about the fundamental structure here. It's just crazy.

Huh?
Merkel was (and is) a nuclear energy supporter. But she was an elected politician, and when more than 3/4 of all Germans said NO, she had no other choice. Way too big a majority for her to do anything about it. She hated it.
See, no one in the Anglo world actually cares about German politics.

And if you had had polls last month in Germany, the result would've been no different. After Fukushima Germans collective decided nuclear = bad. It wasn't "Merkel's decision".

I can't say I'm much of a Neil Young fan, but damn. I mean, it's Kid Rock, man. Damn. Do those two even belong in the same sentence?
The flame that you have to walk through to prove your loyalty, damn.

I second this motion.
I don't know how the fuck anyone who hasn't even heard of standard error can say anything meaningful about any of these things, quite frankly. You ought to be instantly disqualified to talk about Covid data if you know nothing about SE, but as far as I've seen, more than 80% of those who opine loudly about Covid on the social media seem to have no idea what it is.

Good God, hardcore Joe Rogan fans seem even worse than hardcore Elon Musk fans. And by "worse" I actually mean more pathetic.
I mean, I have talked plenty of shit about Musk in real life too, but no one has "called the manager" on me over that, ever.
But now that it's Joe Rogan... wow. Where these people come from? What kind of intellectual poverty prompts one to become such a hardcore fan of... Joe Rogan's?
Contrarians are such sad creatures.

Now you know why I kept talking shit about Bill Maher pretty much from the very beginning of this thread, years and years ago, when he still had some credibility and fame in the US as an "independent mind" or whatever.
He was from the beginning just a childish contrarian narcissist joke who thinks he's 10 times as smart as he actually is, and his insufferable brat-like behavior in this pandemic was entirely, entirely predictable. And his idea of The Intellectual is Bari Weiss, one of the worst contemporary writers that I know, a writer who can't write, another clown that I kept calling names in this thread even when she was still largely a nobody.
Just trust me, folks. I can smell rats.
