One of the most amazing things is that this woman seriously thinks that she is going to be the US President.
A true land of opportunities America is. Every confused idiot is free to dream.
"You never negotiate with your enemies."
Revolutionary foreign policy strategy, truly outstanding.

A Lebanese guy once told me that foreign volunteers in a war zone can be almost perfectly divided into two: One is the Great Soldiers Thumbs Up category; The other is the Such A Burden That I Wish They Were All KIA Yesterday category.
In Syria, particularly on the rebel/non-ISIS Islamic side, a clear majority belonged in the latter category, and used primarily as a morale booster/PR mascots.
The language is always the problem in the Middle East, but that's probably less of a problem in Ukraine.

No matter what will happen in Ukraine, and Russia, I will never stop whatabout-ing about Saudi Arabia. I will keep saying, "... and Saudi Arabia" every single fucking time you condemn Russia or whoever else on the atrocities that they commit.
I just can't emphasize how absolutely appalling what the Saudi have been doing in Yemen is. It's a crime against humanity.

This has been going viral. This is one example of what I said about the "children".
It's a clear violation of the Geneva Convention. You are not allowed to insult/humiliate POWs in public, and not supposed to put them in front of a public curiosity gaze like this either. It's possible that they are really sincere, but that's not even the point.
And obviously these guys were beat to crap. OK, this is war. People get injured for all kinds of reasons. But there have been quite a few Russian soldiers who surrendered without a fight and defected to the Ukrainian side. Don't tell me that the three people who were willing to renounce the war in front of the cameras just happened to look like they were gang-raped. Possible, but don't expect everyone to believe that.
I'm not even exactly condemning the Ukrainians for beating the crap out of these guys. It's war! But I am condemning the children who seem to think this violation of the Geneva Convention is some beautiful moment of sincerity and courageousness. "I hope it's widely heard." Idiocy. What a child.

Bloody mass murderers.
And look at that extremely dull video with the cheesiest music imaginable. Typically banal, mass murderer aesthetics.
Man, look at me now again. I thought I wasn't going to talk about the war in Yemen either when I came back to this thread after I got Covid. You can thank another mass murderer Putin for that.

Quelle surprise, the average college kid tends to dislike conservative/right-wing talking points in general. Who'd have thunk it.
People dislike you when you express an unpopular opinion in public, and that's fucking life, you spoiled brat. Adults and even children have been dealing with that for centuries. No one is obliged to like you, and since clearly no one is censoring you, it's all in your fucking mind, you freak. It's your problem, not the fucking university's or society's. And the idea that the University of Virginia being any kind of a left-wing hotbed is absolutely laughable. I'd almost call you a liar, kid.
Conservative or liberals, these freaks all show extreme narcissism. That's the root of all the problems. When I say I'd blame their parents, I'm not really joking.

I always wanted to talk about the REAL cancel culture. I've been a victim several times in my career. But these narcissistic freaks with their moronic idea of being "cancelled" keep ruining it to the point where I simply don't want to talk about any of it anymore.

This freak is a perfect example of that, you know. Just count me out. The idea of getting lumped together with these... no thanks.

A hero or villain often has a weird, not-very-bright sister. It's pretty sexist in many ways if you think about it, but is a bit of a literary tradition. Michael Corleone has Connie. Tony Soprano has Janice.
And of course, Mark Zuckerberg has Randi.

They are talking about and hyping up this war as one fought in the era of social media, OMG look at those explosions, missiles! etc., but if you are instead quietly wondering why there is such *little* footage and information on *actual battles* in the very social media if anything, relative to the intensity of the rhetoric that you see online, well, you are the kind of a person who dislikes contrarianism yet is often accused of being a contrarian, aren't you? In other words, you are my kind of a guy/gal.
That's what I've been wondering about too. The fact of the matter is that we only have a very incomplete picture of what's going on militarily.

It's really none of my business, or of yours unless you are British. I really don't give a shit about what an odious "Europeanist" like Donald Tusk thinks either.
But what irritates people the most about it is that the UK in peace times is generally the most openly vitriolic toward Russia in Europe, even more so than Poland for example. Much more so than the US too. Many British MPs are often tremendously offensive and even racist to Russians in general.
Yet the City of London wouldn't be as rich as it is without the Russians, *Putinite Russians* at that. And when push sorta comes to shove like this, this is how the government behaves. No one likes keyboard warriors, you know. Tusk isn't even saying this out of some principled position, but is just expressing his general disgust at the British government's tiresomely predictable un-walk-the-walk-ness. "Will you just shut the fuck up about 'The Evil Russian Empire' from now on then, you pathetic shitposter" is the sentiment. They wouldn't be so disgusted if the UK weren't so rabidly anti-Russian *when it didn't matter much*. People like that don't get any respect from anyone regardless of the geopolitical position.
I expect the UK to do more in the end, but like I said, the Russo-British relationship is very, very unhealthy.

Speaking of the visas for the UK, I still remember the UK immigration/working visa polls on why they came to Britain, and "language" was a top reason, meaning that they could speak some English already and wouldn't have to learn a new one from scratch. It wasn't even among top 5 in France OTOH. That's the power of the English language, so maybe they should consider changing the official language to Welsh. Might do wonders to drastically reduce immigration.
