Grisham announced that they had sold out and have "over 12,000" there.
Looks like the setup is like 1/4th of the arena. There's a black tarp up next to the ring.

Yes, he mentioned the same thing earlier tonight. The configuration definitely looks a bit smaller to me compared to the K-1/It's Showtime events a decade ago. 12k is still good though. If this was Rico vs. Badr/Ben Sadik they'd sell out a bigger configuration. |

^^From that angle it does look a bit claustrophobic. I always sat in this area:  So my point of view was different. If I'd have to guesstimate I'd say the configuration looks about 20% smaller than what they used in the past. It'd look a lot spacier if the ring was surround with seats from all sides. |

It's Showtime always claimed 20,000. If they're claiming ~12,000 and a sellout it's definitely a smaller configuration. 20k is probably Rutz over-enthousiastically rounding up the numbers. I remember when SuperKombat went to Almere a few years ago. I was there and there were barely a thousand people and they reported a 3k crowd when the venue probably couldn't even hold that many people even at MAX capacity lol. I think the K-1 & Showtime co-promotions were their biggest configurations for fighting events at around 18k and they filled those out for the most part in the years that I went from 2006-2008. |

I think if RvR loses today he's moving back up in weight.
He's gonna meet troublesome Thais in either weightclass, so might as well not starve himself to make weight anymore.
