I had no idea this fight was already scheduled and happening in a mere two weeks at that.

I bet that 200lb weight cut is being tough on fury.

Lol, well he did have some practice fights recently. Nothing on a level close to Wilder though.

Didn't feel was a wrong decision... Fury was getting the edge in most rounds the first half of the fight... I think.

yeah, actually have wilder winning this by one point difference. Fury won 5-4 at rounds with 3 of them, in my opinion, being 10-10 rounds. But though fury had 1 round more , wilder won two by 10-8 which would mean that in my book he won this fight by 1 point differece. Other than wilders 10-8 rounds, almost all the rounds were very close. This fight could have gone either way. More so, I feel wilder was robbed by a ko win here. WTF was that " please go walk a bit for me" that gave fury 6 more seconds to recover after KD. That was bullshit, especially seeing how hurt he was, which I believe would have resulted in a wilder ko if the referee did not give him those 6 more seconds to recover. You either stop it or just let the fight go on.Also there should be a clear rule that say you can't hold on to your opponent for too long after being dropped, otherwise you get deducted a point right away. Fury held on to wilder for too long after was dropped despite the referee efforts to break the clinch.
BTW I was shocked fury got up after the last KD... he looked to be out cold while flat on his back.
Edit: rewatching it now also the referee started the count 3 seconds later than he should, which mean fury was legitimately Knocked out.

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury fight to a Majority Draw.
I still have to watch the fight so I can't comment on the legitimacy and length of the count nor the decision.
Having said that, I do find it exciting to watch fighters holding on for dear life when they are rocked. My mind always goes "Can he survive until the end of the round or will he get caught?". I wouldn't like to see that get penalized.

I don't have a problem if you do that, but once the referee comes in to break the clinch and you still hold, then what you do is illegal and you are just breaking the rules to offer yourself an unfair advantage and take away the work that the other guy put in order to drop you and finish the fight.

This video show that fury hits the canvas at 00:08, the referee starts to count at 00:12 (4 seconds later) and fury is back on his feet at 00:20 (12 seconds later). Then the referee let the fight continue at 0:30(22 seconds later). So he gave fury 22 seconds to recover.

I didn't realize his count was so long either. Looking forward to the rematch.
