Happening this Sunday!
Looking forward to Adesanya vs. Silva.
I like Adesanya, but I'm definitely rooting for Silva on this one. Not a fan of his chances though.

I don't understand why so many people hate on Adesanya vs Silva. For me its win win.
Silva wins: Wooo legends never die! Adesanya wins: Woo Kickboxing Master Race
The only downside is if there's some boring, inactive fight that ends on a split decision and lowers both of their stocks

people are hating on it? lol. its a good match up. and like you said either a legend gets another W or the young gun from another sport keeps on rolling upward. with that said hopefully this shit doesn't end on an eye poke or something.

Man, what a disappointing fight from adesanya. He even lost a round against 44 year old silva who happened to get his ass kicked by bisping 3-4 years ago, when anderson was younger, and also had a very close fight with nick diaz and brunson . If he can barely beat this version of anderson, then I don't think he will become champ. Man I'm starting to grief after k-1 days even more now.

Adesanya fought like he was fighting against the legend, no against the 44 years old man. Something like that happened to Brunson and to Cormier.

Now I haven't seen the fight yet, but..
In a way, this is the 'best' outcome to me. We have a winner without the other fighter getting embarassed, which I wouldn't have wanted for either one to be honest.
Adesanya showing (perhaps a bit 'too much') respect for a legend is nothing I have a problem with in this case.
Also, even at 44 Silva is still a solid fighter. In that regard he has aged better than Fedor who - in hindsight - would have been better off not making a comeback.
